Re: ThreeZero Toys: AMC's The Walking Dead

Dude he was like that for one scene. Options might hinder the final result. Just look what happened with HTs Selina Kyle/Catwoman.

Thanks for all the info gimbat. I'm really looking forward to seeing TWD line develop. They seem to be in good hands.

It might hinder the final result, yes probably, but Hot Toys' final products are sometimes not as good as the prototype, but since this isn't Hot Toys who knows how the final product may come out. Seeing as how Gimbat said that Kim is a perfectionist, I'm siure the finished result will be spectacular.

Re: ThreeZero Toys: AMC's The Walking Dead

Like I said I'll buy them all, but Shane is my main want, and Michonne is my least and will be disappointed if she is one of the first released.

Re: ThreeZero Toys: AMC's The Walking Dead

The show is great and all but i want comic figures more than live action.

Each character neing done in colour with a B&W variant would be awesome.

Since people keep asking about threezero and whether it's 3A, I will repost here, what I just explained over Facebook to one extremely cool person.

threezero started in 1999 and was founded by Kim Fung Wong in Hong Kong. Fun fact - threezero logo is created by great Michael Lau.

In 2007 Kim met Ashley Wood (an artist, you got to google him, if you don't know) and they decided to make figures together, based on Ash's artistic vision and Universes, like WWR, Popbot and etc.

threezero + Ashley Wood = threeA (or more modern name, which we use now: 3A)

that's how threeA was born in 2008

While threeA was making figures designed by Ashley Wood and acquiring licenses (Bandai; HALO; Portal 2; TF2; MGS; Capcom Lost Planet 2, 2000AD) threezero continued to exist and making various figures, like my personal favorite Squadts for Ferg/Jamungo.

This year threezero acquired ACM The Walking Dead license and will be showing the figures at SDCC.

threezero don't have FB, twitter, website or other presence yet, all these coming along later on unfortunately. Kim was concentrating more on nailing those display figures, he is perfectionist.

Quickly googled Kim, if some prefer double-check or you don't want to take my word for it:

Thanks for the information Gimbat.

Is this the 3zero display or other co. ?

Re: ThreeZero Toys: AMC's The Walking Dead

Pretty sure this is the AMC booth for TWD. They usually do something pretty crazy.

Yeah, that's definitely AMC's booth. (Might be a little extreme for 3zero if they're just showing a couple of figures.)

Doesn't AMC have a big zombie obstacle course set up at the baseball stadium every year, too? They may not know how to hang on to show runners, but they do know how to service the fans!

Seriously amazing booth design, too!

They did last year and it was badass.

Hoping someone snaps a picture of the Diamond booth and these guys here soon...

Re: ThreeZero Toys: AMC's The Walking Dead

Has anyone seen the Gentle Giant Daryl, Walker Merle, and Michonne 1:4 FIGURES??
I must have those AND these 1:6 scales figures. Sure wish someone would post some pics, tho.

Re: ThreeZero Toys: AMC's The Walking Dead

This company made a smart move and really going to profit by it. Their quality is great, i bought a WWII pilot years ago and the quality was excellent. Kudas to them!!!! and a loss to the other companys that dropped the ball.

Re: ThreeZero Toys: AMC's The Walking Dead

Will Merle have a interchangeable right hand for season 1 and 3?

Just got the answer, only blade hand...but another version of Merle is coming and I think you all are going to really like it.

Can't say more yet :)

Re: ThreeZero Toys: AMC's The Walking Dead
