I don't see how a Thundercats fan could pass on this. Its bought and I have even seen the final yet.

This thing was bought the moment the license was first announced!

Well, in my case first and foremost I can't afford it...
But if I could, I'm not sure I would buy it... this sculpture is based on one of the WS Comic covers, and they kind of overdid the look of the characters IMO. So that's a problem from the "source" material they used for the sculpt.
So, to me, this Lion-O (as King says) doesn't capture the essence of the character at all... Of course it's an amazing sculpt, and a very impressive statue but the face expression misses the mark completely. And the body looks like this kitty has been abusing some steroids...

I'm still curious to see what other statues they do... I'm sure Mumm-Ra would look great in this style... But the Cats, not so much.

Hey, I'm just saying...
As I said... I'm curious to see what they do with other characters... specially the bad guys...
but with Lion-O they definitely missed the mark...

Yea, i think having him so roided up is making his sword look more like a toothpick, doesn't blend well together.

Still its not a huge problem, it will still look awesome when finnished i'd say.

He also says he has the license for 3 years
