Yea i loved begins and it dwarfs the old ones but i just didnt like the suit in the batman begins, the bat symbol just was there black and blended in with everything else and in the comics it pops out more, its a symbol of the fear he strikes in criminals (so to speak) (my opinion). i just like to see that symbol i were it everyday as a belt buckle lol. and when its so blended in i just dont like that. thats why id like to see a keaton batman i loved the suit i liked the armor look, i thought it was a real modernization of him, what he might look like in real life taking bullets and getting back up.

really? I actually thought Clooney was great as Wayne and Batman.... it's just unfortunate that he was a crappy film version. Being the kind of fella he is he just always blamed himself for it... which I always though was incredibly unfair

it was the dirrecctorrrrrrrrrrrr lol

yeah you got a point there hunky, Clooney can be serious when he wants to be... I hate joe shoemaker. :monkey4

Clooney was awesome as Seth Gecko and Danny Ocean, but sucked nuts as Batman/Wayne.

well that's the thing evilface...he's a great actor and very talented. it was the dumbass director that decided batman needed more 'color'. watching the 2 disc sp edition of batman and batman returns, tim burton said WB thought burton got too weird with the batman franchise and decided to have him only produce the 3rd one, while schumachagkjaklrjg direct it.

the idiot director just about destroyed the batman franchise. like burton, he went overboard with his sequel to the movies.

transition from batman to batman returns-too dark and was a bit weird. transition from batman forver to batman and robin...too flamboyant, stupid and weird.

well I liked the Dark films of Burton, and the awsome film(films to be) of Nolan... but they're like comparing apples to peaches.... totally different... not even in the same genre....

anyways on other funny news, I just got banned from the kiddie board for apprently not doing anything....

Your account has been banned or locked medicom troublemaker

stupid idiot....

got banned here too. i feel like one of those people back in medieval times that were wrongfully accused and hung.

anyway, personally, burton's batman will always have a place in my heart. but nolan's kicks mucho ass.

Now... we REALLY REALLY REALLY need a company to produce these burton batmans...... I don't really care which company... aslong as they can do it right.

Wowee-wow-wow! Now that is an awesome looking Batman... so what's the deal with this one? I guess I haven't seen anything about him yet.

LOL. Pretty cool, huh?

That's the Henry Wayne figure that Snakebeater was talking about. I did a search and saw that image on another board.

I've made a Henry Wayne Batman89 figure number 1 on my hit list now.

I MUST HAVE IT!

Personally, I thought Val Kilmer played the Wayne/Batman role better than Keaton or Clooney. Too bad they forgot that Billy Dee had originally been Dent. And that Carrey was too over the top.

Henry no longer makes the 89 batman you will have to keep an eye out on ebay every now and then they pop up.I think it was only limited to 89 ?

Ill keep an eye out for one for you.

Billy

Not having Billy Dee play Dent was a huge mistake IMO, I was really looking forward after seeing him in the original movie. I agree that all of the Batmans have actually been good (some better than others) but the terrible movies really screwed it up for Clooney and Kilmer.

Thanks, Billy! I want a quality 89 figure so badly. I was bidding for one early this year, but the price got to over 400. It was a custom.

I should just get off my lazy a** and try to make one. hehe

I smell an opening here....

TIme to dust off an old custom and show it off. I love the Burton Penguin.

Oh Mikey ! That Mr. Penguin is amazing.

Did you make the outfit? EVerything looks so perfect. Is the head sculpt from a model kit?

I really like this custom a lot.

Pieces were taken from the amazing Horizon model kit. I had to make him a right ear, since the model didn't have one. Also added the hair (from electronic Qui-Gon), cut the body to fit Penguin's height, added the padding, and I had help with the costume. I really wish I had a 1/6 umbrella to complete him.

Glad you like him!

Damn, Mikey! That's an awesome custom. And YES - you do need to dust him a little - hehe.

The best Returns Penguin I've seen.

Tin
