I wouldnt say i'm a snob either (SHUT UP EVILFACE )....I just cant help but analyze movies. It doesnt ruin them for me....it's kinda fun in a weird sorta way.

But that doesnt mean all the flicks I like have to be deep or something....I love the Cranks, and Gamer....pretty much every over the top stupid action movie that came out in the last few years.

But still....I cant help it. I have to know how these things work if I want to be a film director.


And as for Avatar, it kicked ALL kinds of ass. It just had a really flat story that disappointed me a tad. And has an obnoxious fan base.

Were you moved by it? If so I wouldn't call it flat.

Not moved at all...I felt very little towards the characters. They did their job, and the movie was extreamly entertaining.

There are a few posts on the last couple pages that really burn me that I would like to reply to, but I have read the post below a couple times to myself and I have decided it's not worth it. Why should I let other peoples opinion rob me of my joy?

I'll be seeing this again without a doubt! To all those who loved it and feel they have to defend it, don't bother, let's just keep Wonderland for ourselves.

To all those who hated it, I respect your right to an opinion, hopefully there's an enjoyable movie just around the corner for you.

Anyways, maybe I have to much heart. (Sometimes even TV commercials make me cry. )

My son and I liked it a lot, but my wife fell asleep. There is never going to be a movie that pleases everybody.

I will say this though: I'm ready for this 3-D crap to be over and done with. It doesn't enhance the movie at all, it detracts from it. Before everyone starts crying "but this film wasn't shot in 3-D", I know that, I'm not talking about this film specifically but every 3-D movie I've seen from Avatar to this.

And if 3-D is something that I'm going to have to endure, then I think I'll stay away from the theater at least until the audience stops audibly ooooo-ing and ahhhhhhh-ing at every special effect.

Get used to saving some cash, after the studios saw what is possible from 3D revenues through Avatar; it will only become more widespread.
