BBTS all the way. Best customer service on the planet (well, THIS planet anyways :) )

I'm curious, how do they handle a figure coming from EXO-6 that has missing parts? That may change my pre-order habits alone as going through EXO-6 Contact Us feature has resulted in a couple sporadic replies but ultimately not addressed the issue.

That's a good question - and (based on my experience with damaged deliveries from them) would very much depend on you being an International vs. US-based customer.

For returning, US customers are probably not an issue, but it gets more convoluted as an International customer . . . you have to pay to ship back to them and they give you BBTS credit.

Fortunately, with the 4 or 5 items (out of hundreds over the last 20 years), I've either accepted replacements at BBTS's cost (because they were available), OR a complete refund, OR a partial credit (they are much more generous with that than Sideshow are!)

So - for EXO-6 pieces, that (at BBTS) sometimes sell out and sometimes don't, you have to take the risk that something MAY be wrong with an item, and BBTS may not have a replacement to send you. That being said, I've had no problems with ANY of the EXO-6 pieces I've got from BBTS (6 delivered so far, 3 on the way).

I've had some experiences with items that are sold out but paid for inexplicably come "missing" from inventory with them when it comes time to ship my pile, making me wonder if they just decided to cash in on a hot item. No conclusive proof of course (would be hard), but it's happened often enough to be an annoyance and make me check elsewhere first.

Never heard of this happening before. BBTS are an honorable company and wouldn't do that.

I had BBTS refund me once for a Mafex Gambit after they thought they had more in stock than they had. They also gave me some extra store credit for my trouble. Not sure how that would equate to nefariously "cashing in".

Depends. If it's something fairly common, not as big a deal. If it's something long sold out you trusted was actually held and you'd already paid for, a refund in store credit and $10 extra doesnt help if you have to then go and spend double or more somewhere else. Even if they're not reselling, that means they're not very organized in their inventory and still a massive inconvenience and cause not to make them a first go-to. I've had purchases from them also go without a hitch. It's never a problem until it is.

I didn't take anything out of context. I just didn't feel like writing the whole thing out, after I showed the full quote just above what I wrote, that's why the ..., was there.

It's pretty clear what you meant. You mentioned sculpts should be better for the price, you then list sculpts you felt should be better and gave a price point you felt the figures should be in. You didn't say Wesley should be in the same price range of the sculpts you listed since you considered them soft or not that good. You implied that the sculpts you listed were in a higher price range like Wesley. If that wasn't your intent, then why even list those sculpts and a price point?

How do you propose Exo-6 raise their quality for the higher prices, when the higher price is due to inflation? What you are suggesting would make the figures even more expensive.

Why did you list the other sculpts if you were just wanting to concentrate on Wesley? You could of just simply said I don't think Wesley's sculpt is worth the price and left it at that.

I don't see where I gave my opinion; I simply began by pointing out the sculpts you listed were within the price range you gave and pointed out why Exo-6 can't give a lower price. Since then I've been going back and forth with you about what you said.

When you reference HT (or any company) price, it's implying that there is standard there in your mind, and anyone coming close to that price should be close to that standard. You may not have meant it, but that's the impression it gives for some. If you didn't mean to imply that there was a standard or that you were comparing, then why even mention HT at all?

Now here's my opinion....I don't think the Wesley sculpt is that great in the pre order pics either.

What is a fact though Exo6 has proven that they improve their sculpts from pre order to release. Some still aren't perfect, but they are always better than the pre order photos.
This is all your opinion. I wont read it all as your incessant need to keep this going is getting old. As I said, I stated my opinion and you stated yours. You can type all you want but that's not going to get me to revise my opinion just as clearly you wont change yours even though it's clear we just had a misunderstanding based on how I worded my comment and how you INFERRED it.

I'm going to politely put you on ignore as I'm done with this conversation. LIVE LONG AND PROSPER!
