News of Mr. Russerts's death hits pretty close to home.

My own father who is 58 years old suffered a massive heart attack 4 days ago.

5 heart stents later he is back home, and feeling better.

He was pretty lucky and arrived at the hospital quickly.

Thank god he will be with us to spend this Father's Day (and with a new outlook on his heath) and many more.

58 is too soon to go.

Glad to hear your dad is still with us orbitingx and something like that happening will make u appreciate him even more than u already did.Hope he makes a complete recovery and lives to a 100+:)

Sorry to hear about this. My dad died one yr ago on July 1st at 71. Be so thankful for everyday. I was blessed to live near my Dad(by choice we stayed near him, along with my brother and two of three sisters). I had many lunches and the grandkids had many afternoon icecreams with him. I lost my Mom when I was 22 to complications from triple bypass in 96'. It has made me so thankfull for my kids because of the things that have taken place.

Sorry to any that have lost loved ones, its something that somehow changes u a little and stays with u always.Similar to u Dwing i lost my dad 18 mths ago at 72 and am just grateful to have had that long with him although u always wish for more.

Only regret i have is we are having a baby in the next month or so and although it will be a time of overwhelming joy just wish my dad was around to share it with us all.Atleast he shared many yrs with my sisters kids and i know just how lucky i am compared to most people struggling in this world.

I hope everyone had a chance to catch "Meet the Press" this morning. It was a great tribute.

It really was. I watch "Meet the Press" on a regular basis... It'll never be the same. And to say that Tim Russet will be missed is an understatement.
