I know I am probably the ONLY Gator Fan on this board, but I am very proud of my QB Tim Tebow for giving it his all this season. Despite an injury and a rebuilding defense this year, he gave us outstanding memories and great games. Even though we did not make it anywhere near the top of the BCS heap, I'm astonished at what he gave us offensively this year. Congrats to Tim and to my boys over here in Titletown.

Now on to the bowl game against Michigan and to next year's National Championship goals! :rock:rock:rock

Thats a bummer...I was hoping Colt Brennan from Hawaii would have taken it after a 12-0 season....but his numbers is down from last season due to injury as well... :monkey2

I was pulling for Tim, glad he got it.

With that said, he may have been the first Sophomore, but Knowshon is the next!! Go Dawgs!!

He was worthy of it, that is for sure. Dude's passing game is insane and leading Hawaii to a perfect season while doing so. I know for sure he has one Hell of a future, he'll go places quick.

I wouldn't doubt that for a second! He put a hurting on us for sure this year, man can run his ass off. :lol

That game was the most painful for me to watch all year, you guys really came at us hard and we just FOLDED under the pressure. :monkey2

The really need to rename this award the ESPN Media Conglomerate's Favorite College Player Trophy.

:rock :rock :rock :rock

HELL YEAH! At least Florida football fans have something to be happy about, its sure as **** ain't the Dolphins:monkey4

i really thought McFadden should have won but just slightly over Tebow but congrats to the Gators!

Damn Dolphins. I forsee them to be the only team in history to have the most wins and the most losses in a season. :monkey2

I miss the old school Dolphins, back in the Marino days.

I thought McFadden should have won. That dude is a beast. He WILL be the #1 draft pick come next years draft. Yes I know hes a junior but hes going to NFL no doubt.

Tebow is a ok QB, he works great in the NCAA but that size won't do much for him in a few years because those lineman and linebackers will MUCH bigger and faster overall.

It was pretty much over in almost all voters minds when Dixon went down that Tebow was the winner, I think they must have not watched what should have been a Heisman winning performance against the medias darling school LSU. You run for 200+ yards against the #1 team at the time who hadn't given up 100 yard rusher in something like 4 years, I ask WTF were the media watching.

if NFL teams want to see how well McFadden will do in the NFL all they need to do is check out Adrian Peterson.

Exactly, they are very similar type backs. Adrian may had gone earlier if not for the whole injury concern he had. I don't think that McFadden has that same concern, but I guess it comes down to does Miami need a RB?

Did someone say Dolphins. #@&(%$(*&#)(*@ :banghead :cuss :monkey2

All I want for Christmas is one damn win!!!!!!

Hell Yeah! Having been born and raised here in Gainesville, I've always been a Gator fan. We have had our good years and players, but none since Emmitt Smith have been this fun to watch for me. Tebow can only get better and I hope next year is our year, so I will be crossing my fingers for that. :lol

I live less than a mile from the Stadium, every day on the way home from work I see them out practicing out in the practice field and it rocks. I love this town.

As for the Dolphins, I will always have a soft spot for them.. No matter how many times they lose. I am always holding out for another winning season.... maybe one day. :monkey2

the dolphins may go winless and lose their perfect season record to the Pats this year....yikes.

I'm glad for the kid. He's a beast on the field and seems to be a great kid. I'm not a Gator fan but I didn't mind seeing him win. The kid from Hawaii wasn't all that impressive seeing as the level of teams they play aren't that high. McFadden will tear up the NFL next year the same way Peterson is doing as was mentioned. These types of backs are guys who just put up crazy numbers year after year. I have to say though I REALLY wanted the kid from Mizzou to win but knew it was a crazy long shot. MU will be back next year as strong as they where this year but better and don't sleep on Daniel he'll be a star as a NFL QB. He's got the things that make you want him behind center.
