Looks like movie Raph.

I just realized. A lot of people seem to prefer Raph. While I love them all equally, I think Mikey was my favorite as a kid. He was the original Spongebob... except he wasn't a moldy sponge... and he was a ninja. :D

THANK YOU! I WAS GOING FOR MOVIE RAPH LOL

I will always be a Leo guy but I'm liking Raph a lot more lately, I didn't give him the appreciation he deserved when I was a kid.

Yeah, I like the Raphael and Leonardo conflict archs, but I'm not sure I could choose between anyone one Turtle. However, those two definitely have better volatile chemistry, which makes for awesome stories, lol.

My history with the turtles stems from the cartoon and the movies but I only acknowledge the first film. I never read the comics although I'm definitely considering picking up some of the TPBs they have out.

No love for Secret of the Ooze? Or the 2007 flick? :D

Yeah, I too started with the cartoon, then saw the movie, played the NES game, watched the film sequels, watched the cartoon some more, then later in life read some of the original comics, but was eventually drawn to many other things. It was only until the 2007 film and the NECA toys that I revisited the Turtles, many years later.

That said, I don't keep up with them though, like I do movies, video games or certain other characters, such as Batman and Spider-man. So, I stumbled upon the new Nick Turtles this past weekend and was dumbfounded and filled with joy all at the same time, lol. I briefly, and half-heartedly, watched the 2003 show, but I intend to give the new show my full support. I just hope it's good.

It's Becuase of the song at the end of the first movie that stated raph was the leader lol. I remember for a while I thought he actually was the leader until I grew older and figured out Leonardo leads.

Your not the only one, my girlfriend told me recently that she thought the same exact thing until I told her Leo was the leader lol.

Huh? o_O

I always thought their roles were fairly obvious? :dunno

Leo is the serious, somewhat experienced leader. Raph is the wreckless, but most skillful fighter. Don is the science geek, the mr. fix it, and master of long weapons. Mikey is the ditzy comic relief who can, in a pinch, fight better than the lot of them.

When i was a kid i didnt pay attention to that lol. I thought since raph was red and becuase of the song he was the leader. Dont ask why lol i didnt know myself. When i was six I finally realized.

You pick up on many other characteristics as you get older, but really, I've always known Mikey was the goof, Raph the wreckless, Leo the leader, and Don the geek... even back in '87 when I started watching the show, and I was fairly young.

And it's all right there in the song !

Yup. To this day, (literally) I sing along to the opening song in the 80s 90s toons. :lol

I wish there was a few high quality intros posted on youtube. Sadly, I don't own any of the seasons on dvd, much less the first one. :slap

:horror
I have all 10 classic seasons (currently rewatching in order . Into season 7) . It's 2000s seasons that I can't get. I got the first two seasons and the fast forward on DVD but can't find s2-s5 or back to the sewer :thud:
Looking forward to the new series tho.
In the mean time ill put up with te ridicule I get from girlfriend for watching a "babies" cartoon ! :lol

Kids yes, babies no, lol. o_O

Either way, like it matters. I have grown ass friends, nearly 30 years of age, who get laid every weekend by some pretty decent looking ladies, likely not always their significant other when it comes to one or two of them, that watch Spongebob... and not necessarily because their kids do. A few don't even have kids. :lol

I can relate to that!:wink1:

Saw the Turtles Forever DVD at Target but found the whole movie on YouTube. I actually liked it that I may just buy the DVD. Loved that they showed the

Original TMNT from the comics in black and white.
