So glad I jumped on the neca turtles like I did back then. Who knew they'd be a ***** to find now. I took no chances with the classic line and the movie line is day one preorder. I predict the 90s movie figs will be one of the most sought after turtles do to the amount waiting people did for them.

Where can u preorder the movie figs?

I want the neca badly, but will have to get the knock offs to display, not worth paying 200+
Thought about buying a set of originals but not sure if they will be worth much more than they are today

The classic turtles are also flooding the shelves now. I went to two different TRU and they had pegs and pegs of them. If this is a fluke let me know. If you're looking for them I can grab you a few.

lately i noticed a bunch of NECA ninja turtles listings on ebay and they are all mostly listings from china.
Are there any fakes on those?? the price seems to be pretty reasonable as well, package of 4 for like $70-80

I heard they are still good figures, same mold, paint isn't as good, but worth having

I don't have pics right now, but I gotta say, it's nearly impossible to distinguish them.
There's a couple issues with the KO's, but they are definitely worth a buy if you missed the actual clamshell necas.
Some of the detail paint rubs off initially but kinda stops after a while. So don't handle the figure right after deboxing.
The second issue is the head bandanas being slightly softer than the originals, and a smidge sticky, which also goes away after no handling for a lil while.
Trust me, you can't tell the difference.

curious if anyone knows how long (if any) was the delay in getting the classic collection turtles in Canada after they came out in the US?

Seems like the 88 series turtles are already in TRU all over the US but I haven't seen them anywhere up here (in Edmonton). Makes me curious what kind of delay we might have in seeing bebop and rocksteady plus the movie turtles. I am really excited for the movie turtles

Bebop and rocksteady are expected to be in stores around end of october in the US... correct? And we don't have any projected release yet for the movie turtles? sorry if this has been asked already

Cant believe i only recently found out about these classics! I just ordered the Playmates classic Leonardo from Amazon, and I'll be getting the rest soon! These figures look incredible. Such nostalgia to them!
I've caught that turtle mania, and I really wanna make my own version of the movie turtles in 1/6 scale next year some time.

I never understood why Canada's TRU toys is like complete crap compared to US or even asia (for us toy collector's at least).

Just for example the playmates classic turtles, we NEVER got them here at TRU even now. I had to pre-order at a local toy collector shop (obviously a bit more expensive than retail) for a toy that can be found at TRU in the US

TRU's around here said same thing, they've never even seen the line. Pretty weird. But the classic line turtles were around Walmart and Target stores. I was only just able to complete my set last week! I randomly checked a Walmart (biggest one in Edmonton) and they had a brand new shipment. I bought a full set plus an extra Leo and Raph to make two full sets (already had Mike and Don). In the past 4-5 months, only other places I've seen them is comic/collector shops. I wasn't into paying $30 for one in a damaged package... Glad I waited!
