Hot toys 1990s turtle movie would rock, theres a load of money to be made by making them, they would be highly collectible and value of those would likey sky rocket, It would be expensive to collect the whole line, it would be a grand easy but so worth it!

Just think of what they could do with shredder to, metal weapons and a hot toys sculpt...bad@$$

Agreed! :hi5:

Surely they've been eyeing off the 1990 film license at some point, because it's tailor made for them. :exactly:

The toddler turtles are hitting retail.

That's way to much

I have the 12 inch battle shell set ... I custom painted them too. These things are well worth the $20-25 a piece!

Here's a look , I am not done but been painting these for awhile. An hour or two here and there, I am done with the turtles just touching up their weapons now.

Fantastic job! :clap
They look appropriately mean without pupils!

I love these large turtles. I would like to customize them as well but I enjoy that they are built to play with and not just for display. I am picky about sealants and whatnot. :cuckoo:

The Role Play stuff is starting to hit in Canada, not sure about anywhere else. Picked my little Dude up a Donny mask and a Battle Shell. (where were those when I was a kid? I had a thin foam shell from one Halloween that I wore out.)

Still no sign of the other waves of Turtles though. My area got a little restock of the 4 base turtles, Dogpound, Fish Face and a few Krang, but nothing else past the Ooze figures.

I decided to do this for fun. I bought the playmates 11" Ninja turtles to see if it was possible to make something out of it.

First thing I did is dremeled all the sculpted bandages.
I added elbow articulation from a ttl body since they weren't any.
The articulation will be hidden by the leather elbow pads anyway.

This was quiet a lot to dremel and a pain in the *** to do.

I had to resculpt the shell and the torso since there was a recessed line where the sculpted belt was supposed to be so it needed to be resculpted.

I alos added texture to the skin and a cloth bandana.

Still a lot to do but here's a first pics.

That's brilliant Elvis. :rock

The Turtles are in dire need of high end 1/6 scale love via Hot Toys - the 1990 film specifically.

Looking forward to your updates man! :duff
