Or at least that's what Dave says. On his Tuesday night show, the host of "Late Show with David Letterman" said Tobey Maguire would not be appearing on the program to talk about "Spider-Man 3." In fact, Letterman went on, Maguire would not be appearing on the show "ever again."

Letterman stopped short of launching into one of his trademark rants but was clearly not pleased, He pointed out that Maguire had previously come by the New York-based talk show to chat about Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2 and Seabiscuit.

I didn't see this, but I have heard about it on the grapevine...
Does anyone know what it's about??? Love a good scandel!

Is it honestly written in stone that somebody HAS to come on his show? Obviously if the studio wants to promote the movie, they get the actors on talk shows and such, but oh well. Hopefully Dave has a segment where he like "kills" like a spider-man doll or something. That would make me laugh.

If someone doesn't want you invading their PERSONAL space, what right do someone have to do it? He may be an actor, but he's still a human being.

But I guess you wouldn't mind having someone wave a camera a foot away from your face after you've told them to back off.

Wow...Spidey Sense was buzzing on that one for Tobey!

That's kind of both their faults though...the fan for just shoving that camera in Maguire's face and Tobey for smacking it down instead of snatching it away and tossing it back or something.

I know some fans and the papparazzi can be crazy and it's stressful for celebs when they step outdoors but things like that can be handled a little better.

No it doesn't, that's what press conferences, events, public appearances and the like are for.

Yeah lol it's not like tobey should not be expecting to have ****loads of cameras in his face a WEEK before a little known SPIDERMAN 3 MOVIE IS COMING OUT.(biggest movie of the year IMO.....and best!!)
