The Maltese is such an adorable breed. Look at that face. Very sorry for your loss, it's one of those things we know we're all in for as pet owners, we know the worry when they're sick and we know the gut-wrenching grief when they're gone, but we do it anyway because of all the preceding years of joy. The important thing is Bella enjoyed her life with you. Your sadness right now is a testament and a tribute to this little character. Time, of course, will heal and there's nothing else to do but to let it do so.

Sorry for your loss buddy, i know how hard it is to make such a choice but i am sure your baby Bella thanks you for it and in their own way understand that it had to be. btw, she was gorgeous.

All thank you for the kind words describing Bella...she was a beautiful dog and her character was beyond that as well. I am glad that I have this forum that allows us to also start a thread on stuff that is of real life and beyond our favorite hobby. Also want to thank Fives for his poem that he sent me via pm ..it is a beautiful poem that I shared with my wife and she appreciated. Today I took my wife and my kids to the beach just to walk around and be together and heal ..but not far from me in the shadows of my mind was my best friend Bella . Although my grief is weighing on me ..I am most happy that I was able to give her some time of Memorium on our beloved 1/6 Forum . With this I wish all of you have lost a pet my condolonces as well and for those of you whom currently have living pets to make the most of the time with them and enjoy them as they are gift !!!! Thanks again...
