Yeah I saw that figure yesterday. Quite surprising. Although Sony could of bought views too.

I think they may do Venom justice visually (even though I don't care for the tiny eyes) but I think the film itself will be a stinker. That being said, I'd probably by a HT figure of it.

Personally I'm waiting on Medicom's MAFEX line after that comic book Spidey they put up for preorder. Venom that also looks like it was ripped straight from the pages of a 90's McFarlane/Larsen/Bagley issue please.

Early 90s Venom is the best Venom. Simpler is always better. I never cared for the funky toothed version.

It gives me an X-Men 1 vibe. From the way it’s directed to the colouring of the shots to the way the stunts are done. Even his reactions to the way the tendrils shoot out. Seems like a time displaced movie that was lost out of the early 2000s. Doesn’t mean it couldn’t be fun, of course.

Also doesn’t Riz look bigger than usual? He looks tiny in most of his roles but you can see some broadness to his shoulders and arms in this one. Been working out? Hopefully it doesn’t go down the ol’ CEO becomes giant mutated freak end boss finale.
