I just hope they get better writers and voice actors.
Lara shouldn't enjoy sticking a pickaxe to a man's throat or blowing their faces off with a shotgun. Wrong character!
Why??
LOL, what's the point? Ppl liked sickening game enough to warrant a sequelhope they get better writers and voice actors.
we're now stuck in the era of pseudo-realistic Nolan-like view on entertainment. The writing of the reboot was pure cliché and forced emotions right in your face, which ends up falling flat because it was meant to be taken seriously.

I guess the days of exploration, serene environments, sense of wonder, awe and mystery and using your head to overcome obstacles are now gone in favor of me-too combat and forced morals.
It's funny considering the developers were comparing the reboot with Batman Begins over and over again. There was nothing wrong with the previous trilogy, except that it doesn't sell as well as say, Uncharted or COD.
While the reboot is a fine game in its' defense, it does seem like the developers have opted to dumb down everything entirely for the sake of sales. I "liked" the previous trilogy but never "loved" it, but after this humorless Uncharted clone I revisited the old games and gained so much more appreciation for them.

Anniversary and Underworld were just as badly written for the same reasons. The writing of the reboot was pure cliché and forced emotions right in your face, which ends up falling flat because it was meant to be taken seriously. The old games, dated as they were were smartly written.
Though this game wasn't successful ?
I still have to play it
