On topic, I snagged and exclusive sealed 1:6 Aragorn this week for 61$, about 10$ cheaper then the goign rate a month ago. I did also notice more of them for sale also

It's really funny to see how volatile the statue collectible market is, it sways like crazy. I remember when AvP first came out, the original Predator 1 bust by Palisades was selling for $400 - $500 on eBay, it was insane. The statue is fugly in the first place...

I recently sold mine and the going price is $69 or so now

But I was able to capitalize on the Hot Toys Predator insanity... I had the entire collection of them including the HK Con edition and sold the lot for thousands. I liked them, but when I saw the original AvP ones going for $500, I listed them the next day lol!

I imagine people that payed big bucks for the Fewture Predator on Horse statue after market must be pissed off now with Sideshow redistributing them again. That's the worst lol!

Right the SSW Sauron and Morgul Lord are statues, not PFs. Great statues, but not PFs the way SSC is making PFs these days.

Maybe he meant Polystone Figure by PF.

Anyway, in case Sideshow will never do a premium format Sauron the SS/Weta figure will probably be the closest you get to one.

Ah ok LOL! Yeah no if I need to sell stuff I just post them in the shop on my site and they usually go pretty fast

By the way today I scored a Ringwraith on Steed for $250, so I'm pretty stoked. The rear legs are cracked, so I'm having that repaired and repainted by Joe Dunaway. I'll post some photos of the repaint when it's done.

I noticed recently that the Morgul Lord and Lord Sauron PFs were pretty much selling for LESS than retail now (They were going for $1000 a pop awhile ago on eBay) so I took advantage and picked both up and WOW!!! I am so glad I picked these up, they're AMAZING! I'm not a huge LOTR fan, but I love a few of the characters so I figured I'd get them for my collection. So now I have Lurtz, Morgul Lord, Sauron and the Morio Orc is on pre-order.

So if you've ever thought about picking up these statues, nows your chance for good prices and they kick all kinds of ass!

They look a bit funny surrounded by Predators though
