ANH Obi-wan has a great sculpt. Probably the best human sculpt they did, but going by the impact a figure has when I see it on my shelf, these are the ones that do the most for me.

I've liked the ROTS Anakin since I got it and I wasn't smoking anything but cigarettes at the time. The only comparable 12" Star Wars figures back then were Medi Luke and Vader, and I thought it was a great figure. The production pics at Sideshow were atrocious, but when I opened it, I didn't see the same figure. Still don't.

Do you remember the reception Obi-wan got when he was finally ready? All these years later, you would have thought that was the one people would still be hating, given the histrionics that came on the heels of everyone realizing that they weren't getting the red-haired, monkey-faced proto.

Yeah, the SDCC one. I never liked it, and was very happy to see it changed.

As it turns out, there are only five Star Wars figures on display in my house.
Kinda shocked to realize that. But I guess that means that they're my favorite five.

Not counting Jabba, who will ALWAYS be my absolute favorite. I can't count him because A) he's more expensive (or was) than your average figure, and B) He takes up A LOT more room, especially if you do it right and get the throne. Which you should.

So, here are the five I have out.

1.Ex. Emperor (ROTJ) with Throne
2. Leia as Boussh (helmet on)
3. Ex. Bib Fortuna
4. Darth Vader (ANH)
5. Ben Kenobi

Of course, all my figs are modded, so that might affect how I feel about them.
The Emperor has lightning.
Leia is actually wearing a TOMY helmet.
Bib has repainted eyes.
Vader has a pred body, a new dome, new tusks, and wire in his capes.
And Ben has been totally repainted.

So, there you go.

Paint the lips and he is good to go. It's not near my top 5, but he is a kewl figure.

anakin is still a really cool figure. he has a great outfit. i was very excited to get him. likeness is ok...like EF said paint the lips and anakin is fine.
