I always think Winson Ma is thinking what would've happened if 'Planet of the Apes' was taken to it's natural conclusion, and how cool would modern designer tecno apes look, and then he just let his mind go crazy with the gadgets and outfits.
There's a definite urban street high fashion vibe as well. I mean he must be doing something right if you look at a 1/6 figure and think I would kill for that coat and those jeans in 1/1 scale (I wonder if Bathing Ape will pick up on it?).
At the end of the day they are just sub zero cool!

You know it! Thats Wookster... I was wondering when we'd see the next one. And while I'm definitely getting this, I'm a little bummed Adam isn't in his space suit? I wonder if that will ever get released now that they are releasing this version???

But anyone thinking about getting this, I highly recommend it... the Apexplorers are hands down some of the best made figures I own.

Bummer about the exclusive is I don't think you can get them for the same price as the regular. It seems like right off the bat they are 2X the price Luckily I like the orange versions so its not an issue.

I like the orange too, so if price is an issue (which it probably will be since I want the Dr. Cube figure too) i'll just grab that one.

So do you think Sideshow will get this one GB?

I wouldn't be surprised, but I'm gonna order elsewhere. When Sideshow got the T-Rex they charged $200, when places like Toys2 had him listed for $159.99... even with the shipping its still cheaper elsewhere.

Hmm, where's the spacesuit? I was looking for an excuse to get rid of T-Rex and Jungle and I think I just got one. Sure this goes better with the other 2, but I looking forward to the spacesuit.

I really love these Apexplorers, especially Jungle (he's won my heart) but I haven't found him anywhere. Thanks, Galactiboy, for continuously showing pics of these guys and making me regret not getting into this line.
