Last year, I remember seeing those promising Star Wars question marks on the SS Toy Fair page finally revealed as the vinyl deformed figures. (Although I admit that I ended up getting into that line and really enjoyng it.) If one of the LOTR question marks this year doesn't get replaced with a new PF, a lot of us will go nuts.

or, very possibly, just say screw it, my patience is worn out and I'm done. :(

You mean Medicom will unveil a Medieval Kurgan which will be distributed through Sideshow :D

Forget Sideshow and Medicom!!!

Lets see a Hot Toys Origins Kurgan. After owning the HT Preds and Alien, I think HTs would make a better Kurgan than SS or Medicom could ever hope for!

So do they drop their big SW bombs at TF, or wait for Celebration IV in March?

I hope they save something for C4 but honestly I'd rather see them do stuff at TF and SDCC. C4 isn't any different IMO than the ORC conventions. I just hope they don't do a damn exclusive for C4.

Plus they still have SDCC in July and really need to save some biggies for the biggest show of the year.

I hope they show a little bit of Star Wars at everything! Give me something at TF (maybe a 12"), something else at C4 (maybe a PF) and maybe one more thing at SDCC '07 (one more 12")!

We Star Wars fans have had a ton to chew on in one year. I seriously hope they slow down a bit. I don't want it to feel like I'm being swallowed by a tidal wave. I'd rather have a slower release schedule with the highest quality products - that way I'm happy and my wallet doesn't overheat. I really do think they jammed a bit too much out in one year this year. And the Jabba is a mother to contend with!

I actually think the pace of the LOTR is about perfect. You guys are JONESING for stuff right now. That way it feels special when you do get more propduct. And your wallets are well rested!

I'm a believer in less is more. I know they only have these licenses for so long and want to capitalize... but don't overdo it!

Maybe both? It's been a long time since we've had a major 12" characters announced (no offense to Plo Koon, Asajj and Endor Rebel lovers). Why not hit us with a one-two punch?

You're right, Tom. C4 is in May.

Greivous premiered at CIII. And I guess it is May, so they'll probably have something at TF and then one awesome item for C4.

Just was looking through the TF 2007 site and I did not see Gentle Giant listed. Are they not attending this year?

I'm willing to bet we see at least one Universal Monster Premium Format figure at Toy Fair! There is at least two more for 2007, so the possibilities are Toy Fair, SDCC or Spooktacular. Of course, it is time for another 1:1 bust as well, so we may get that for Toy Fair and the PF for SDCC and Spook...

...and my guess for the remaining two PF figures are, Creature From the Black Lagoon and Phantom of the Opera Red Death!

I just hope we get both a new 1/6 LOTR announcement--that line has me craving more every new release!

Hopefully they'll have more Faramir pictures too!

We definately need a Count Dooku or Palpatine announcement soon.... im guessing either at toy fair or at SDCC.
i also want another LOTR PF announcement... better be something good too!!!

I'm hoping NECA do a 1/6th version. I've heard they sculpt at 1/6th and then produce at half that - which makes a 1/6th release fairly easy. Then I'd rip it apart and use the armour as the basis for a custom :)

Maybe they'll announce two LOTR 1/6 figures and a premium format to make up for our long waits, ala Jabba's entourage announcement at SDCC. That would be great!

I'm hoping for some new licenses announced at ToyFair personally along with more additions to the existing lines. I'd love for them to explode the LOTR line already...
