No doubt about that. Having the wealth makes the health easier to deal with. But you still gotta put the work in. The three main stars of BvS, the trinity actors anyway...they all worked out hours every day.

Let's make one clear distinction here: We are poking fun of an action figure, not the man. The figure apparently, by photos, does ≠ the man.

This is a collectibles forum, and quite honestly, the figure does not look good. If this was a 'thick' Captain America, everyone would be saying the same thing.

Figure ≠ Human

Figure ≠ The Movie

Last time I checked, "body shaming" a piece of plastic had zero effect on it. Maybe I'm wrong. :dunno

You are wrong. Look at the number of direct shots at the man. Which would never have started without the shots at the figure. And even if you are not able to see it, calling the figure fat is still body shaming, in the same way people use Barbie as an example of body shaming women. Whatever your "intentions" are pointless.

There are photos of the Man, not the plastic, eating a hamburger and calling him fat. There are pictures of him doing other things calling the man not the plastic fat. There are comments that the direct scripted the batman to be fat, so that's why the actor is.

Even if it was just about the figure..and it's clearly not..it still says that if you don't have a six pack that shows through your layers of clothing and you are bigger you are fat. It's a shame tactic.

People got used to Chris Evans's and Chris Hemsworth's physiques, very muscular but lean, with low body fat that took a lot of healthy eating to achieve. Affleck's physique--muscular but with a more normal percentage of body fat--doesn't fit our current superhero perceptions.

I'm trying to get as much work done as possible so I can glue myself to this thread and watch all of the amazing stuff that's going to be posted on Friday. I think I am the most excited to see whatever surprises they have that don't even know about it.
