I love the Toy Story movies, but yeah, this is totally unnecessary. All 3 movies are basically the same anyway, Toy(s) gets lost and must find their way home.

It's just that there's nothing to add on to. I get they want as much money as they can get, but 3 had a good ending to the series. They shoulda let it be.

You should, they are great films. Well worth the time.

But yeah, I don't get the need for a fourth at all. Third film's ending was pretty perfect, and if the fourth film is more of the same then it's not going to go down nearly as well as the others.

I thought it was a trilogy that's supposed to conclude with the third film? I thought the ending was or perfectly executed and incredibly moving, why the need to continue the story?

Trilogy was great. Hopefully they do something different with this story. Looking forward to it though.

That may be true. Not knocking the films at all but I really never got into any animated films like this aside from the first two Shreks.

I'd bet money on seeing Marvel and/or Lucasfilm characters as toys in the movie.
