So what happened to including the Mech Test sculpt with this? At least including a sculpt that not many people have added a little something to this package now there is literally no reason to get this unless you missed out the first time :

Its Mech Test Tony head. I believe HT's is just going to juggle with what they have alreay manufactured unless there's a new armour like Mark VII.

The original Mark II & III was HT's R&D stage, hence we have a better Mark II AUV today which will eventually be the base for future Mark III. Mark I had a bad sculpt, so we have a 'better' Mark I with a new sculpt and armor painted by Lalla. IV & VI seems to be the best they could do, so hopefully there will be no future 'upgardes' for them, but its HT, so you never know.

However, I think HT might give us a 'better' Mark V DX with 'better painted' V and a Race Track Tony.

P.S.: What am I forgetting? Ah! Mech Test rerelease! Guess we'll hear that too before the year end.

That's right! When I looked at the Milk's blown up pic, it sure looks like Mark IV head. Guess they calculated wrong and made too many Mark IV heads for the Gantry release and now don't know what to do with them. Hence, the 'Special Edition'!

when i ordered hawkeye yesterday, the promotion of this ironman were all MKIV tony's HS, i guess the promotion was wrong, RDJ doesn't even have that haircut in the avengers movie

Of course they are as seems the norm these days on here, the Mech Test is probably the better of the two but neither are bad attempts whatsoever

On a serious note, I like the Mech test sculpt, I think it looks a lot like RDJ. The Mark IV simply looks like an Asian cousin of RDJ to my eyes.

I must say - usually, if I think folks have a biased opinion on stuff, I may chime in to say my piece.. but in the case of the HT mk4 RDJ head? You're right - it's not a dead on likeness, I agree.

That said, I own the mk4 - amazing figure! I'm also quite @n@l regarding likenesses etc.. but with this figure, I'm actually cool with the almost there portrait. To be honest, I've still not swapped the head over from the helmet yet anyway..
