I found all that information from George, the owner of Cinemaquette/Toynami.

The spear gun is already in the warehouse and ready to be distributed.

The cowl will be in next month in August. The delay was caused by the alteration of the ears.

They had to fix the ears, because one is shorter and pinched than the other. That need to be fixed and even out.

While I was talking to them, they also mention something to me that is coming out next summer that they hope to debut on SDCC 2011.

But I am not allowed to say anything about it. All I can say is..... be excited if you are a hardcore Batman fan and have your 2K ready.

I hope that its something amazing and mind blowing either way you made me, pee my pants a bit from that announcement.

They had these on the window of Forbidden Planet in London, so I'm surprised they are not out?

Cowl looked cool but not rubbery enough for my liking.

I'm a Fan of the Burton Movies and designs.
BUT, a prop that isn't wearable kinda defeats the purpose for me.
IF the cowl would fit, AND if the spear gun actually worked, THEN I'd drop whatever they wanted for'em.

Can't wait for the cowls!!! I love that they are fiberglass. It will hold it's true shape and look awesome on display for years to come. Latex and rubber aren't all they are cracked up to be. They just deteriorate too much over time especially depending on your environment. I prefer longevity in a piece like this.

Yeah, I know what you mean.
I hate when Sideshows Terminator Plasma riffle doesn't actually have 40 watts! and Star Wars X-Wing doesn't fly at all.:D

:impatient: Sorry that this is a very late post.

Regarding the Batmobile made for the 1989 Movie by John Evans and his effects team. The length is 19' 8" long (236") in total. The widest part from rear bumper to rear bumper was 851/2" and the wheel base for the car measures 144".

That makes the HT car around a 1:10 scale (about the same scale as a Richmans remote contol model). At around $100 plus shipping, I'm sure that a Richmans could be modded and still be much cheaper that the HT.
Hope it helps.

The speargun is in stock on the BBTS site :yess:
I think it couldnt take long now for the cowl (i hope).
