Motuxmen, can you try and speak a little nicer to other board members? All of your posts come cross as extremely rude and condescending. You are a HT apologist, like it or not. There is a hostile tone to your posts, and you jump down the throats of any board member that isn't as 'educated' as you are when it comes to likeness rights and contracts. We get you like to shoot your mouth off like you're Jackman's bestie but give it a ****ing rest.

Funny how your calling me out for being a ****...all while your being a ****.

I'm not sure exactly what part of my post was rude. I explained he was wrong and why he was wrong. I didn't call him uneducated. Or an idiot. Or a ****. I said Nothing about him at all. I didn't use any derogatory or personal statements at all. Unlike you.

And how exactly does explaining how the stuff works make me a Jackman bestie? I'm not sure I've ever posted anything about him as an actor. But sure.

As for being a hot toys apologist...well considering this is a forum that deals nearly exclusively with hot toys is it a surprise that most of my posts are actually in regards to the company that makes the products? Wouldn't it be weird for me to be talking about the quality of crayola vs dollar store craynons? No **** I'm taking about hot toys. As for being an apologist, fan or whatever...explaining that people base their opinions of wrong ideas does not mean I am defending the company. It's explaining that it's wrong. And the post you quoted had nothing to do with hot toys really. It was about licensing and likeness. And the completly incorrect information posted to make a point.

As far as the tone...I get far worse. No matter what I say. Lots of folks on here post things that are personal toward others. Like you did. I addressed INFORMATION and fact. You made a comment about me personally. But somehow it's ok to do that, while if I don't sugar coat it then I'm the biggest dock on the planet.(which never matters. When you tell someone they are wrong it doesn't matter if your nice or sweet or bubbly about it. They still get defensive and pissy...I've tried that here. Got the same responses.) you've got people that go around bashing others becuase they have to few posts, or started a new thread ect...pretty much all I ever say that's negative is about incorrect or uneducated factual information. But again, I get singled out.

Any little miniscule statement he disagrees with, he'll write an essay on how it's wrong. He even sent me a VERY hostile PM once after I told him not to ruin a thread with his ridiculous arguments.

He's hostile in most of his posts, talking down to folks, and acts like he's a victim when people react to that. I'm sure to be attacking him with this post.

The head looks like Fassbender to me but the expression is too neutral. Still I might pick this up. I need a Magneto and the McKellan Magneto was never a favorite of mine.

Just watched DOFP again today (the Rogue Cut in particular) and I can't help but find that the "modern" X-Men film franchise is so underrated. Fassbender's Magneto just perfectly captures the earnest personality of the character in such a raw yet sophisticated way, combined with the rough-cut physicality he had in the comics.

I really can't wait to get this guy, he's probably my most anticipated figure in the longest time. :panic:

I think because it's not part of a universe it doesn't get as much hype. Look at WB/DC, with Man of Steel there was a lot of negativity but then the 'Shared Universe' schtick started up with BvS and Suicide Squad and suddenly there's loads more hype and attention.

People don't care about the movies stories anymore so much as the teasing and setting up and hype for the next movie and the one after that and how they all connect and feed into each other.

The X-Men franchise focuses solely on making the current movie as good as possible and it has added pressure since the next movie isn't six months away but two years so a bad movie won't be forgiven so easily.
It's also the last remaining superhero movie franchise not shackled by universe obligations. For instance X-Men Days of Future Past could never have happened if it was tied to other franchises as the timeline and status quo would be need to be unaltered in those
