Finally watched it, real Imax.

I was really hoping for a movie that allowed me to reflect upon my interpersonal psychosocial behavioral aspects within a cognitive journey of correlational relationship oppostion and acceptance.

**** DAT NOISE!

I wanted Imax vistas up into a girls crack while wearing daisy dukes and super fast cars.

I walked away happy.

When I want to feel smart i'll watch Dr. Zhivago.

Wow, jye. WOW.

Don't worry... Jye will come back to reality after 3 more viewing :) :) :)

Seriously though.... Shame on you Jye.. ;)

I can't help it, I have a fetish for fast cars and Imax shots of the female anatomy. :lol

So my Transformers list goes like this:

1, 3, 4, 2

My top 3 for 2014 still remains:

1. TWS
2. Godzilla
3. DOFP

Regarding the Dinobots, I didn't understand who they were. Were they Dinosaurs that were converted to Transformers?

Also Lockdown, was he a bounty hunter that worked for the creators?

But all the "Central Government" did was fly jets back and forth, they never engaged the battle. :lol

The Ipad i'm typing this on was built in China, as are the components in my TV, bluray player, home theater, washer, dryer, fridge, alarm clock, laptop, hot toys batmobiles, clothes, eye glass lenses, razor blades, so on and so forth.

I bet everyone of these "US" companies where these products came from involved pandering to their government so Paramount kissing their ass for money isn't shocking to me.

Very interesting article that makes a better point than I did about the film pandering to the Chinese government - https://variety.com/2014/film/columns/transformers-age-of-extinction-patriotic-for-china-1201257030/
That's pretty interesting. I'm not too surprised to see moves like this. Not necessarily for the purpose of appeasing funders so much as appeasing audiences. If Bay tried to lampoon the Chinese, then the government may not have even allowed it to be screened in China. I'm sure focusing part of the film in Hong Kong is a business move to get more Chinese to support the film. And looking back on it, Bay may have been pretty damn savvy in his portrayal of the U.S. government and military in a way that satisfies the largest percentage of his likely audience at a given point in time. I think the author of this article may go a bit far in his criticisms of Bay and Spielberg for doing what they're doing. We live in a global economy, and movies like this are made to make money--plain and simple. That's the only logical motivation I can attribute to Bay. To call him an artist is to stretch that term pretty damn far. Spielberg can use the proceeds to fund more work supporting U.S. vets, bringing positive attention to Jews, etc., and ultimately I'm sure the pros of that compromise outweigh the cons.

Meh.... pacific Rim had their whole fight in Hong Kong yet no one said anything

(Didnt Iron man 3 have extrafootage for the chinese release???)

But T4 made US Government the baddies and dumb while China central government was made to look heroic is the issue being brought up.

Bay can't win.

1/2/3 he was ridiculed for embracing the US military.

1st movie in the series he doesn't do that and now he supports atrocities committed by the Chinese government and is their lap dog as is Paramount and Spielberg.

So what you're saying is that you're pro-Communism, anti-freedom jye. Wow. WOW.

Okay in all seriousness fine, I'll reserve judgment until I actually see the flick. I'd be a hypocrite not to since I was totally fine with TWS's anti-US government elements. :lol

:lol :lol :lol

Kelsey Grammer would've made an excellent Hydra agent. :lecture

Wow. I'm sorry.

Wife changed her mind and wanted to see it. I wasn't going to expose my son to it, but I lost the argument.

2x in one day? Crazy. :lol

That movie was about 30 minutes too long for me. I don't know how you sat thru it that long!

It was.

I enjoyed it, but it certainly could be trimmed and cleaned up.

I still prefer 1 and 3 over this one.

Finally saw this last night. I want to really like it, but just can't. For now it's 1,3,4,2

If they do a TF
set on Cybertron as this potentially sets us up for
- I'm all in.

Yea thats somthing I disagree with. I liked how the humans in this movie werent the good guys and the Military were actually the baddies while the robots were finally doing the fighting themselves. I dont understand the chinese military bit though, I mean they barely did anything really but fly jets around.

I ended up seeing this movie twice yesterday. :horror

Now that is stamina for you.

OMG..... WOW.... No way... I am not sure I will ever see this again...... I put in 1 and 3 the other day and could not get over how much more interesting the battles were.... That was this films biggest crime... The battles Sucked IMO. Not one thing was memorable... Not even the Dinobots.
