When I saw the first one, I didn't give it a chance. Just watched it for the first time since it came out and loved it. Loud, action-packed, and fun - bottom line. Bought it on blu ray for $20 too. If Part 2 is more of the same, I will love it!

Just put my PO in for the score an amazon. I have never ordered anything from them yet but do they usually ship it out early?

From my experiences with Amazon, if something is to be released on a Tuesday, it's usually shipped out prior to that so I receive the item on release day.

I'm sure the actual film score reuses some cues from the first.

No, there isnt anything reused...but man...it sucks. The fact theres so little music, not the score itself. :monkey4

And I'd rather download because i'd be pissed if I pissed (heh) 15 bucks away on 44 minutes. 40 minutes is nothing.

No, I mean in the film they probably use a lot of reused cues, thus why there's less on the CD score for the second movie.

Steve recorded 101 minutes. They always cut down.

See for instance, the Mummy Returns. The soundtrack lacks a few important cues, such as the full final battle score, and other things.

I downloaded the "2 disc" bootleg, and got EVERY SINGLE CUE in the film. THATS what a score should be. Its over 2 hours of music. If they sold that, i'd get it. I'm so fed up with this BS.

Indy 4 took out most of the action cues in the soundtrack....that was when I stopped buying scores. Waste of money.

I understand CD scores don't contain every note from the film, what I was trying to say is in the full body of music used in TF2, a number of cues could be reused pieces used in the past film, so while the CD may not be everything from the movie, some of what's missing may also be absent on the CD because it's not new and specific to TF2.

I'm used to it, much as I don't like it, few purchasable scores are complete, often they feature cues not even used in the movie, and often tracks are mixes of cues from multiple scenes made into one track. Sometimes it's nice to have the unused stuff, some times that's better than the used material, but it'd be great if they all were every note from the film in order. Star Wars Episode 1 Ultimate Edition is the only score I've ever seen truly be a complete collection of every note from the start to the finish of the film.
