Going from one theatre to another? That's perfectly fine. If you paid for one movie and there are kids doing that... you def. should move onto another theatre that is showing the same movie, or even another movie you may like with any of those distractions.

10 bucks for running a movie on a screen isn't cheap.

No, I mean seeing another movie for free after I have watched the first one. Where I live, unless it is the weekend and really busy, once you are inside, you can pretty much go wherever you want.

When I made a suggestion about deleting threads that were years old, I got blasted saying there's nothing wrong with reviving really old threads, so......

SUFFER!!! :lol

You know what's worse than this?

NECROPOSTING!

Necroposting? I forget what this means. I used to know what it meant ages ago. If it means repeating an aforementioned post, excuse my ignorance but I didn't read beyond the first two posts. lol

I didn't care to.

This is why I feel no remorse when I theatre hop.

I do it all the time, it's awesome! :rock

It's really hard to do this in our theaters because of the way they're set up and they have people watching for things like this.

The local theater here is run by a bunch of teenagers. The last movie I went to, the ticket girl was hanging out in the foyer with her friends. When I finally got my ticket and went in, there wasn't anybody taking tickets. I could've just walked in. :banghead

When the newest theatre by me first opened, the way it was set up, you could just walk in for free. They finally changed things up to where you would at least have to buy one ticket.:lol:lol:lol

Ahhh, well that's entirely different. It's the theatre and staff's fault for not getting on people who use their cell phones to text, check incoming calls, and/or texts. If they did, they would cause just as much of a distraction, if not amplify it. I don't know if I condone it or am for it when it comes to theatre hopping. lol

I have said this to my friends all the time. Sometimes you can just walk in. Depends who's on. Sometimes you can walk in freely while other times they are out there like guard dogs on the prowl, watching for Bannisters... ready to beat the awesomeness right out of them!

Another time I went, they had a sign where the ticket taker stands that said something like "No attendant on duty - enjoy the movie".

WTF? Why did I even buy a ticket that day? :lol

Okay, that is bizarre. Still, you're not stealing so you're making Jesus happy. *shrugs*

I don't know if they do it all the time, but at one near me, during the week they have had the person at the ticket booth outside tear the stub as you purchase your ticket, so theoretically you could have just walked in.

I don't mind paying for tickets, but it just cracks me up how laughable that theater is managed.

That's nuts, that's giant blackman nuts.

I love going to the Movie Theater with my wife and friends, it's just nice to get away from sitting inside the house all night. I always sneak in supermarket popcorn and drinks anyway.
