I mean, it’s far from perfect, but I think the likenesses is there enough to pass in the collection. Photographic skills also always help. Taking some liberties with @davejames photo, I think the likenesses is reasonable here. But in some photos it definitely looks pretty far off. (We also would have benefited from a lower cut uniform 😇).

Likness is not good with this one. Hair and face shape is off and the neckline also doesn’t help here

Yes, we all would have benefitted from a lower cut uniform, and lower... everything. Come on, now, seriously! She's just too elevated up there. there's no weight or gravity... purely from an artistic point of view. :giggle:

I dunno, the eyes seem a little strange but I definitely see the likeness as being there. Neck should be longer, hair should cover the ears more so she doesn't look like an elf, but otherwise I don't have to strain to see Jolene.

Nah, for me, it's just cartoonish, and poorly done at that. Not just the face (which is really very poor) but the fabric - the lines are off, the textures are off, the cut, the shape - all just wrong.

The bee-stung lips, so beautiful on the actress, here remind me of Pob.

OMG, Folks!

I just got T'Pol in the mail late yesterday! DO NOT LET PHOTOS OF THIS FIGURE PUT YOU OFF! I have no way to explain how this happens. Maybe focal length, lens distortion, whatever. But she is SO MUCH BETTER in-hand and seeing her with your own eyes! In understated natural light and seeing her in three-dimensions instead of two is transformational.

I know we've all heard this "better in-hand" thing many times before, and while that's usually reasonably true, the difference here took me by surprise. I've got her posed up with Saavik right now, and I swear the sculpts are on par with each other!

BUT I CAN'T GET IT TO SHOW IN PHOTOS (yet)! Every time I take a shot of her just as I'm seeing her in front on my face, the photos don't even come close to capturing what I'm seeing. But I'm telling you she looks great to me eyes!

Anyone else have this experience?

I'll keep trying to capture what I'm seeing, but right now, every photo I have looks pretty much like everyone else's. It looks to me like you need to get some subtle shading to enhance her features (same as pretty much every figure), but even when that is set up perfect in front of me, the photos just don't show it.

But I'm REALLY happy with how she displays! Call me crazy if you wish...

I know what you mean - the same thing happens whenever I try to get a photo of Roger Moore/LALD, it comes out goofy when in fact it's a great likeness. I'll take your word for it with T'Pol though - not my favourite character and for £200 it's a pass from me, but happy that you're happy!
