River's head arrived with hair snapped... really heartbreaking what glue to use?

I used gorilla glue when Mal took a header and broke his hair sweep and when Zoe's pony snapped. Just clean up the excess as it squishes out.

Nice work! Is that a painted metal effect on the zip or is it actually a metal zip? I've been looking for proper metal zips in that size for a while but have never seen one.

Good eye. It is a painted effect on a tan zipper, since like you, I cannot find metallic or even metal-effect zippers in that size. I used acrylic fabric medium to colour the fabric portion to a matching green and then painted on the gold (iridescent gold with a touch of burnt umber). Amazingly the paint held except for the very tips of the teeth and I just masked off the fabric with blue tape and touched it up when putting it in its final position.

Tiny Zippers closed and her friend at Zipper that Doll is now the main source I use. The metal zipper has much larger teeth than the plastic ones.

Thank you for your complements. Needless to say it takes a lot of time. Kato deserves mention for inspiring me to really apply proper sewing techniques to these doll clothes.

Wow I didn't realize it had been that long since I have sewn for this scale I used to do it all the time as my main source of income. Now I just make for me. So did u adapt a pattern or draft your own.

I know it may not seem like much of a compliment since you don't know me, but I am very impressed with the craftsmanship. I would so buy from you if you were to start selling, and consistently produce top quality.

I added some more to my Jayne sculpt. No matter which hobby it is, I always seem to forget to paint the eyelashes and such. I'm quite happy with how this turned out. Next up is Mal! I'm really liking the challenge of painting such a small sculpt (compared to what I'm used to painting).

I agree. Seeing everyone else's outfits makes me wish I could sew so well on such a small scale. The amount of detail on some of these outfits is mind-boggling!

Mal's pistol is 2 1/8" from gun butt to barrel tip. I have a Serenity type if you'd like it.

It is really dark outside right now so the lighting in my house is terrible! But I did get Wash a new jumpsuit to match his from Serenity. I am getting new clothes for a bunch of em. My Mal got a total make-over as did Jayne. Photos to come. I am just awaiting new bodies for them all.

Here are some really crappy pics of Wash. I took one with flash so you could see the proper color of the jumpsuit. His face is just all shiny.
