Great overall paint job. I too feel that the eyes are to bright. The blue should be a little darker. Zoe is perfect.

Just got word that GDB is done with my Mal!!! Just waiting on lighting to cooperate for some pics. Can't cussing wait!! ( sorry. Watched Fantastic Mr. Fox last night...)

Can't wait to see yours all put together! Mine will still be a couple weeks though after shipping and all that... Just knowing it's on the horizon is enough. Seems like it's been longer than it actually has since I started putting him together.

Got a bit of a sneak peek tonight... Even in the 'not ideal' lighting you can tell that GDB knocked this one out of the park. I hope he doesn't mind me posting this here. Just a little excited.

I'm waiting on a bunch of things for Jayne and a few things for Mal. I STILL don't have a body for Zoe. I'm just not getting lucky with finding one I can afford. But I'll take some photos after I've finished Mal's pants this weekend. At least I have Jayne and Mal to start it off.

Thanks for posting that, buddy! Here's some more pics with better lighting of my humble attempt at this wonderful sculpt! (And on a side note, man, it is hard to photograph this guy's skin tone and hair colors! I did my best but I am sorely lacking both the equipment and the skill to accurately capture how he looks to the human eye.)

Speaking of the human eye, the above picture was before I finalized Mal's.

WOW! That is THE BEST custom Captain Mal Reynolds figure I have even seen! Incredible work on the outfit and the head sculpt! I gotta get one of these someday.

Hey Marf, Looking good. Love your coat, especially the clasps. Just got the word from Josh, my Jayne is painted and ready to complete my figure. I've already started bashing together outfits for the next 3 sculpts. I can see by your Mal, it was worth the wait.
