What Playmates figures were you considering? Just curious as I am not aware of any of them that have any decent articulation.

Not to be a party pooper, but maybe we should wait for the sculpt, since if its a little on the larger side, it may look silly on an even shorter body.

First, Shamm, you did a fantastic job on your Jayne. Love the overall look. Great looking shirt. Love seeing these 1/6 masterpieces that are being put together.
Second, Think I found a body that might work or River. It's Volks NEO-EB TEEN natural skin. It sells for $30.00. Is currently out of stock, but they expect them in first of next week. Check them out at volksusa.com It stands 27cm tall (10.6") and they list it as 1/6 scale.

old grandpa those look really promising! so much so that I may target all my female figures from them for consistency and to keep the heights relative. they sure have a huge variety of shapes, sizes and color.

I belive they sell these at Blick art suply. I got a Grey Buck there and they had them on the shelf above them. I looked on there site but couldn't find them. If i get a change i will confirm this week.

So I got my guns for Jayne inthe mail yesterday and one of the ones wasn't one I ordered. Still waiting to here back from the company. I'm not to pleased.
I got the guns he used in the bank job at the beginning of the movie. I also got a la mat for a side arm. My Jayne is my favorite parts from the show and movie.

I really hate to see this thread go stagnant. I'm still waiting on my doll dressmaker to complete my Inara outfit, but she has had some personal problems in her family and was delayed. What's your excuses folks? I keep reading "photos coming soon", but no pictures. Where am I going to get all my great ideas if you guys stop feeding me information. I Know we are all waiting for Trev's next sculpt, but there has to be more work in progress out there on the existing sculpts. I really love to see what everyone is doing. This is the first thread I really have become attached to. Keep feeding it, PLEASE.

I am waiting on my Jayne stuff from Stevo which should be in a couple weeks. I can post pics of what I have of Jayne so far. I would love feedback on it. Oh and I am waiting for the correct gun for the heist scene still and Zoes end battle shotty.

Wash and Inara are both progressing, though neither are up to snuff quite yet. it'll be a little while still, but I haven't forgotten this project!
If River needs to be a tad smaller to look natural on a smaller body, we can do that. It'll be quite a while before I begin her, as I'm saving the Tam's for last.
I look forward to giving you guys some new portraits and seeing more amazing customs.

Hey Trev, really happy to hear that progress is being made on Wash and Inara. I am eagerly awaiting these sculpts. I should have the bashes done by the time you complete them. I see that Book will follow them with the Tam's bringing up the rear.
