Triad Toys Agent Indigo review

I’m looking at another sixth scale figure tonight…but this one is unlicensed! It’s from the small company Triad Toys, who make lots of cool outfits, bodies and accessories for sixth scale customizers. This figure is part of their Gunn 4 Hire series, and is Agent Indigo of the Witness Security and Protection team. Short version – I’m not a huge fan of the head sculpt or paint job, but the body, outfit and accessories all have potential. In fact, I’ve already switched this suit over for my Hot Toys Bruce Wayne!

Have to admit the first time I saw it on the web-site it screamed Banderas at me, I haven't seen it in hand, but the sculpt looks quite nice to me, the paint however does look pretty weak, especially on the mouth.

Yep, I was figuring that was why he bought it.

I'm very interested in their Josh Randall figure... it looks great, hope it turns out as nice as the prototype.

It looks like Banderas, but a very stylized Banderas.
I guess they were trying to avoid having issues with Banderas' lawyers...
Same thing with the final EVA and EVO headsculpts, they look like Natalie and Hayden, but sorta tweaked.

Great review as always but thats a cool looking Banderas likeness ripe for a Desperado mod

Yeah, but the hair needs to be longer for it to be like Banderas in Desparado.

I really like the REAL leather belt, shoes and harness. Seem you dress the body armor in wrong direction. Visit the below link to see what I'm saying.

Agreed, the more I look at the pics in the review, the crappier it looks.
Kinda worries me. I have an Evo and an Eva on pre-order, but this just looks cheap.

i hate to be the odd one out but i have both the crimson and indigo figures. these guys are badass. all the gear is real leather and the body is a big leap from even the prometheus. the suit on these figures are the best 1/6 suits i've seen. even better than the toys2 suits imho

Just looks gaudy. The pinstripes are loud and so is the stitching. Can't say I like the look of it at all. Even the chest of the figure underneath looks wrong. It really is an unappealing figure to my way of thinking.

No, it's very good quality in hand though I do concur the HS needs a repaint! The banderas sculpt is solid, but the paint job ruins it. The accessories are top notch!
