Thanks for the photos, Jinroh. I don't know. I'm still on the fence about these. Jin looks great, but something about Mugen looks way off compared to the prototype on Triad's website.

I picked up Jin from CSC for a nice price. Nice figure. the body's definitely a new mold.. possibly made for anime types? Real skinny. Speaking of which.. can anyone give me the skinny on how to operate Jin's "PERS"? no instructions came with it.

its a mixed bag sadly.. some are uber tight..others are loosey loose.. and with a metal sword that means one handed poses are nil impossible. still, nice renditions of both figures.
yeah i'm kinda bummed the metal swords are nice but they add a lot of weight to the figure's hands
they come with two chopstick looking thingies to move the eyes. you insert them into the back of the head and rotate them around. it took me a little while to figure out what those two sticks were.

Just some quick shots outa the box:
Overall their both great, some weak joint issues (mainly the wrists, plus the whole body on both tends to be a bit floppy - not stiff like most of HT's stuff) but they hold the weapons in some pretty dynamic poses.
The clothing is pretty much perfect & no facial paint rub issues on mine whatsoever, the only thing I can see is the tip of Mugens shoe where it rubbed on the packaging in transit. The metal weapons just shine & add a lot of visual impact to the figures. Some extra hands would have been the icing on the cake. I had a quick play with Mugens eyes, although a bit of a pain to get the hair back on the system is simple & works just fine.
I love the show & these guys capture the characters perfectly imo. I'm really happy with them.

I see some screw covers on the body(legs...etc). Looks like
you have access to tighten up some of the joints (like HT).
Have you tried that to see if it will help with any lose joint
or floppy body issues??

Yeah, I noticed that too. But I've only had them for about two hours, so I haven't started dissecting them yet.
The knees are good, it's the wrists that are the main problem - the old super glue trick should prevail in that case. I'll do it when I'm feeling a bit braver.

I'll never order anything from these guys again! I'm still waiting on the EVA body figure that I pre-ordered (paid for too) a year ago.

i finally got around to finishing my display for these two.........& notice i left room for fuu.............when she ever gets released....
i like the figures a lot but the kinda loose joints are a bit bothersome....
just the base:
made from tile, a special molding, wooden candle stick holders for risers, & a photo i found online & photoshopped and had CVS pharmacy posterize.

Yeah, the joints let the figures down a fair bit. Their -just- tight enough to hold some awesome poses. Extra hands are needed too. I might have a look and see what Triad have got, but I think the colour match might pose an issue. Other than that I rate them pretty highly, well worth getting if you love the anime.

Well, I was just looking at the Triad forums and Louie has
made a sticky post of Triad's Shipping Schedule updated through June.
This shows expected months the products will be in there
warehouse. Since Fuu has the new Otaku 1.5 female body and it's
not listed yet, my guess is sometime after July...
