Are any of you going to the New York show? I heard everyone
is getting massive snow dumped on them around there.

Sure glad I live in Arizona... Our winter has been lots of rain, but
it only gets down to around 50 degrees

If anyone is going to the show, and they do preview House, can
you take some pictures for this thread please??

Toy Fair isn't open to the public, only press and industry folk. No collectors, unless they run a site like Cool Toy Review.

What about a business?

I have a business license for my on-line toy store.
Just don't want to travel across the United States to see the show.
But I am a little pissed they canceled the Phoenix show.
I think it was the first one here, at least first one I've heard of.

Major fail on House.

If a professional studios prototype is inferior to multiple custom figures then you know someone has failed. Ada Chan, [he who shall not be mentioned] and Serang all delivered better sculpts IMHO.

I generally like Triad but I have to admit that's pretty bad. Bad likeness, bad expression....the works.

Dexter looks okay.

Wow, I was kind of looking forward to this, but no more. And is that Dexter? I thought it was, but with only one shot, hard to tell. Weird they wouldn't take more pics of that one.

I like his shoes and cane. That's about it. As bad as the sculpt is, I'm even more baffled by the choice of expression. House is (was) a pill popping _______. WTF? Can't beat Serang's house IMO

The clothes and the accessories look okay but that smile doesn't fit him at all. But I might get it, depending on what else it comes with, since I love the character.

And, of all the secondary characters to make, why Foreman? Wilson would have been a better figure to display with House than Foreman. Unless Triad's planning on releasing the rest of the first team as well I don't really see the point.

That sculpt needs to be thrown out and have a competent sculptor re do it

I agree, not happy about The House sculpt. I do like the Dexter though
It tends to be hit or miss with Triad. House was a miss. Though, I'll take his
outfit, cain and pill bottle.

We'll just take it on merit that your an ass expert.
And we're very happy for you, that could afford Serangs for it is a great sculpt.
