I can't tell whether Teemu is debating the movie or his vision of the future. I think Teemu thinks Tron: Legacy is actually biblical prophecy. That must be the disconnect. One side is talking about a movie and the other side thinks the movie is really happening.

LOL its definitely not biblical prophecy..but does have things implied in the movie(more so a spiritual aspect and religeous tone)..which is what some dont get here and have talked about previously

lets see...all these were mentioned (gods, spirits and aliens)

plus Flynn's Zen (which is spiritual power in the Occult)

The programs call him the creator because he programmed them before Kevin went into the grid he was just a man. Tron or Rinzler is also just a security program created by Alan Bradley that is why he is so strong. I highly suggest seeing the first movie man.

seen it plenty....yeah Flynn created Clu in his own image...hmmm, yeah you dont get it...

I think everyone "gets" that there are correlations to religious or mythological stories in the Tron verse (both films).

You seem to imply that there might be a more deliberate L Ron Hubbarb type agenda in the film. Is that a fair statement?

CLU is DEFINATELY supposed to be an anti-christ type character. He's the fallen angel. Flynn is supposed to be a god. (As are all the users).

Its a polythiest mythological universe. The film is a blend of various religious and mythological beliefs, you can't use the film as a direct analogy of one particular religion.

I'm not familiar with the beliefs of scientology, but it wouldn't surprise me if they drew on scientology for the ISOs. Thats not to say that the director or writers have a scientology agenda any more than they have a polythiest or Christian or Buddist agenda. Its all borrowed parts to make a movie just like Star Wars borrowed mythology from a lot of religions and cultures.

See right here. The anichrist wasn't created in God's image. Not only do you need to brush up on tron but Christianity as well.

I think you need to learn to read...NEVER did I say such a thing!

Flynn was playing a god...Clu was created in his own image

stop making up crap and twisting my words

yes.........

Thats where my disconnect with you is. I don't see the agenda any more than I see an agenda in Star Wars or Lord of the Rings.

I see correlation. I see story telling. I see metaphore. I don't see agenda. I don't see intent to convert people to a religion.

Is the director or writers members of a particular religion or something?

actually I see an agenda to produce a false religion and implied alien life (spiritual beings, not actual aliens) and along in the story telling, are definitely metaphor's....(Flynn+Creator= god....Clu+Fallen Angel= Antichrist

Starwars and Lord of the Rings are just Witchcraft and Sorceries implied in Fantasy story telling, among other things

So you believe that fictional universes in general are evil, but you're a fan? Or you just think Tron crossed a certain line?

What puts Tron's writing or story into the "agenda" category and not simply just a story? Do you have proof that it was intended to create a religion like L Ron Hubbarb's work is or to influence people such as the writers of the Left Behind series intended?

Without proof, what it sounds like to me is that Tron struck close to the bone on some of your theories and therefore you see "agenda". Where's the proof of motive or intent?

:slapUmmmm yea Jesus was created in God's image and you made that point with Clu but Clu is portrayed as the antichrist not Jesus. I think you need to learn to read.
