Not in my opinion. The only thing I felt the movie missed is the middle was slow and Castor was lame, but the overall story was good.

this one episode had me captivated, I wanted to know what happened next, it had a great villain, the grid looked awesome, and this was just the First episode, this first episode did more than the entire movie did

Yeah, you won't find much agreement from me. I agree the middle was slow, but the middle really didn't have that much to do with the story at all.

The over arching story of Kevin disappearing, CLU taking over the grid, Sam coming into the grid looking for dad, but finding CLU instead, rescued by Kevin's disciple, etc, I think that's pretty spot on.

Nothing wrong with the cartoon thus far either, but IMO not a feature film worthy story.

Tron Uprising premieres tonight!!

I was at Disneyland over the weekend and saw Beck's Beginning @ the Tron Uprising truck and it was awesome!
They were giving away t-shirts and discs, but I didn't get one

So, the series officially premieres tonight!
I don't have Disney XD but I'll get it on iTunes or Amazon for sure!

Both new episodes were solid...but neither blew me away like the pilot episode. Looking forward to more of this series.

So... anybody else watching this?

I'm loving the look and feel of the show... plenty of references to vintage Tron, like the Sentry Guards, those are awesome!
The story is really compelling, I hope we see how exactly Tron ends up being Rinzler!

So far its good. Not sure I can call it "compelling", but its good.

I find it weird that the premier isn't really the first episode. Its silly stuff like that that gets shows cancelled.

The art is great.

I think Tron is already Rinzler, and that the Tron helping Beck is really a copy or something.

I usually don't purchase TV episodes online, but this one is a must for me!
