Re: TRUE BLOOD - new series on HBO

Well, I just finished watching season one and have to say I really enjoyed it. I was a little unsure after the first few episodes, but it grew on me. I'm looking forward to the new season tomorrow.

Re: TRUE BLOOD - new series on HBO

It really started off quickly which I liked. The second time through I enjoyed more than the first.

I really should have gone back and watched S1 over again, but I pretty much remember everything about it so it's all good. It really is a great show, good to see you guys enjoyed it as well!

YUp, I can't wait, I haven't really been thinking about it too much so the date has crept up on me and the wait hasn't felt that long! :rock

Re: TRUE BLOOD - new series on HBO

OK... So I watched this for the first time-- and while I'll try and figure out the ins and outs of who's who (the writing was quite good) can someone who watched the first season fill me in on the major idea-- Vampires are known to exist (with their own spokesperson) and people just leave them alone like they were another racial group? This is the only part that had me confused.

More like another species, but not everybody accepts them, more like tolerate them. There are Anti-Vampire groups from what I've seen.

Re: TRUE BLOOD - new series on HBO

Yup, awesome episode!!

This season looks like it's gonna be crazy!!

So glad Lafayette isn't dead, he's one of my favorite characters.

Re: TRUE BLOOD - new series on HBO

Really good episode, but I hope Sookie stops waffling about how she feels towards Bill.

What...

do you think Lafayette and the others were attached to? Does it actually do anything when they turn it or was the only reason it turns was so someone could us the pot?

And yay nudity.

I think it's always gonna be that way with Sookie and Bill.

Yeah I think the only reason they turned it was to poop.

Ana Paquin's body = :rock :drool

And I love Erik. That guy is a ^^^^ing badass!!

You're probably right. But there's only been 13 episodes so far, and how many times have we seen this already? :lol

Yeah I think the only reason they turned it was to poop.

It just seems like there could have been an easier way than building that thing. The menacing looking poop machine.
:dunno :lol

Re: TRUE BLOOD - new series on HBO

Yeah the wheel of woe was odd...

Good episode, although

Sookie did seem more waffely than in past episodes... got a little bothersome, but hopefully it isn't as constant in future episodes.
