Re: TRUE BLOOD - new series on HBO

I really wouldn't be surprised if he ends up sleeping with the minister's wife.

There is much more to the minister's wife then meets the eye. She plays the loyal and traditional devoted wife but she is in charge. The way she sat in front of the TV and recited the speech along with him while she nodded. And then the way she jumped in about the fees for the leadership training. I have a feeling she will be a major player this season.

Yeah, and there's her political aspirations for her husband. Didn't she mention something about him becoming governor or a senator?

Yea, I got that feeling from the get go too. How do people feel about Spoilers in this thread? I can just put it in the title and then we discuss whatever has aired, like other TV show threads.

That's probably a good idea. Otherwise we'll be using the spoiler tags a lot.

Honestly, if you're in this thread and don't know about the show, then why are you here????? I think spoilers like the rest of the TV threads is a good idea.

Re: TRUE BLOOD - new series on HBO

I would agree that Sookie seems a bit wishy washy for many reasons, but in this instance she isnt wishy washy at all IMO. Bill killed her uncle, but Sookie despised her uncle because of what he did to her. So Sookie WANTED to be mad at Bill for killing the uncle, but was actually greatful. Reeming Bill out was an act to convince herself that she wasnt happy her uncle was dead, when in reality it felt like a relief to her. Logicaly she wanted to stand on the higher moral ground, but emotionally she was thankful.

It's like teaching a lion to eat only TOFU and then offering him steak. (Futurama FTW)

I guess that makes sense for this episode but after last season where she was going back and forth so much, being mad at him I was getting tired of it. I just hope they make her and Bills relationship a bit more solid this season.
I also think turning Lafeyette into a vamp would make the show really interesting. I guess we will see next episode. :naughty but that teen vamp is gonna be nothing but trouble.

I agree that the Sookie's flip floping was kinda annoying! That being said, I think the reason for her flip floping was similar to what I pointed out before. Sookie was raised "a good girl". With good girl morals and all that. Then she falls in love with a vampire and by the very virtue of the relationship is a bad girl! So I think her flip flopping again had less to do with what Bill said and did, and more with her internal conflict about the matter all together.

I just wanna see that Teen vamp sans clothing! :naughty

I am glad they kept Lafeyette alive. His storyline was solid. jason is boring as hell and they better pick up the pace with him. I think the preacher and his wife are truly vamps because of the comments they made after the press conference. i think the church is a cover. I am tired of Sookies whining and Bill better grow a bigger pair and stop acting like a ^^^^^. As for Tara and the counselor, that should be interesting. I think she is a succubus and i hope Sam can change into something more interesting than that stupid mutt. he's a ^^^^^ass werewolf.

Probably not. They're diurnal.

I think his storyline is gonna get better. I think that camp is more for the god's soldiers and he is going into training.

Highly unlikely. They are just crazy ^^^^in' church folk.

He is not. He already told Sookie that he is a shape-shifter and can change into other stuff. He maintains the nice doggy as a good cover.

I hope we get some info on Mary Ann soon. She seems pretty crazy.

I agree about Sam, want to see him change into something more threatening than lassie. And really looking forward to Tara's storyline kicking into high gear. tho. I dont think the preacher and wife are vamps I dont think they are what they seem, at least the wife isnt.

well he can only morph into something he's come in contact with so I think we're out of luck on seeing him become something BA. but he could become another animal that is more menacing but you'd think he would have done it when he tried to save sookie in season 1

Do you think Maryanne is the one who ripped out the Voodoo Lady's heart?

And you guys keep going on about Anna.... but I wanna do it "doggie style!" :naughty

She very well might be, she seems very interested in Tara's life and might be shielding her from harm for her own gain.

Why choose, I'll do ya both!! :naughty ;)

LOL, Israel!

So, seeing as I was referring to the sexy Sam Merlotte, are you saying that you'd do us both?

Because if you are, that is so

:lol
I just now saw the quotation marks and no I don't wanna get down with a shapeshifting dude. I thought you were referring to the way bill took Sookie and that you'd prefer the other position. :D
