Yep sunday. Did anyone watch the vampire diaries? i did and it wasn't bad but some clown i know said it was better than True Blood after just 1 episode Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight

I watched The Vampire Diaries. I was expecting a complete Twilight rip off and was pleasantly surprised that while the stylists of the show couldn't be original in their looks, the show itself was different. It didn't really capture my interest though, felt like they crammed too much in episode one. I don't forsee that being around for a while, definitely nowhere near as good as True Blood

I like the promo for the Season 2 finale.....I'm going to be so jealous of everyone who gets to watch this tomorrow.

I watched The Vampire Diaries. It broke a record “Most Watched Series Premiere Ever” for the CW Network with 4.84 million viewers. But we'll have to see how many of those return for episode 2?

You just never know with shows like this all the teens could keep this going for years.

Teens are fickle. They'll be bombarded with Vampire stuff probably for the next four or five years judging solely by Twilight not to mention that if they rehash the Anne Rice saga it'll be a lot longer. They'll be so much who knows where the loyalities will end up.

Yeah we'll just have to see what happens but will you be watching episode 2? I always like to give a show a few episodes before i make my mind up to keep watching or not.

LOL! And god damn Jessica is ^^^^ing hot! I wasn't expecting that ending either. At first it reminded me of Return of the King. Constant endings. Then they tied it all together nicely and have me thirsty for more!

I was actually very disappointed by this season finale. The cliffhanger was predictable from the scenes with Eric and the Queen but the lull in the middle was too long. The parts with Sam and Maryann were good, the piece at the extreme end was okay but overall it wasn't worth the two week wait and it wasn't as amazing as I expected. It was very meh compared to last season except for the Jasonisms.

I thought the finale was awesome, had just the right mixture of everything. Good bye and good riddance to Mary Anne and her ^^^^^ boy Eggs! I was grinning from ear to ear when Sam stuck her with his horn!

I don't know what the motive is behind abducting Bill though, we have to wait a while to learn about that. I'm gonna be going thru some serious True Blood withdrawals.

Really? Its fairly obvious. The Queen is supplying the V that LaFayette is selling because Eric is making him. Its a huge Vampire no-no that goes all the way to the Queen of the area. Bill was never supposed to find out and both Eric and the Queen don't now how he knows. It was laid out in their little Yahzee game.

I'm not an idiot, I know that. What I mean is she is the Queen, there is nobody higher than her, who can Bill possibly reveal that news to that will put Sophie in peril? They can just let Bill be and have things be business as usual, if anything they are putting themselves at risk for possibly killing another Vampire. So why not just leave things as they are?

Bill knows that LaFayette is selling "V". He knows from LaFayette's mouth that Eric is making him do it but doesn't know about Sophie's involvement so he'd tell her and she'd have to do something.

As for Sophie remember Godric was removed from his positions from a bureaucrat someone without official power in their sector but because she said he screwed up he was forced out and killed himself to make amends. Sophie is high in her position but Godric's removal shows that the power structure is more symbollic than something to be unquestioned. She threatened that she'd remove his fangs and wear them as earrings saying that if she had to she'd kill him to keep herself safe.

When Bill would come to her she'd have to act and she is telling him that he is expendable. This means the real conflict the reasoning behind the kidnapping is to create more conflict between Bill and Eric because now he holds the key to Eric's life in his mind.
