I think its pretty obvious that the show execs listened to fans dislike of Tara's whiny persona and decided to give her a little kick ass edge.

The problem, is that fans didnt actually hate Tara's whining. They just hated TARA! That's my opinion anyway. I've loved her cousin, Lafayette, from the beginning, but never really liked Tara (might just be that I dont like the actress for some reason).

Tara has been a pretty useless character from the beginning IMHO, so don't really care what they do to her.

Anyone think that Bill being out in the Sun after drinking so much of Sookie's "supernatural" blood might change him???? He looked at his own hand when he was kicked out of the van, that could be interesting. I'm also curious as to why Sophie-Anne was watching Sookie.....

He was still burning though it was only a little. So maybe her blood does change him a little. But I don't think all the way.

Yea, I saw him burning a little, so perhaps it does change him. It might explain why Sophie-Anne was "drinking" Sookie's cousin, perhaps to get the same effect on herself.

Last few episodes have been fantastic, they are really staying consistent (to me at least) this season. My one complaint, not enough Jessica the last episode.

I'd be really surprised if Franklin's dead. There was too much setup for that plotline to just suddenly stop. Plus, he didn't turn into a puddle of blood like the other vamps did when they died.

yeah there's no way I think Franklin is dead. He's too funny to kill off so quickly. Glad they killed Lorena. She was getting on my nerves.

yeah, on that wall Tara could have picked up an axe or a sword taken one swipe and cleanly cut off his head. Instead she picks up a blunt mace and hits him like 20 times....

This season is dragging. There are some cool parts but not enough overall. The fairy pond scene was horribly boring. They need to step it up in these final episodes. They spent way to much time looking for Bill and spent way to much time on the King. Although Eric is getting ready to unleash his vengeance on the King for killing his father. Now that will be interesting.
