I guess next season they are going to explain how the virus mutated and made them into zombie vampires.

But I think it is safe to say that next season will be about zombie vampires vs healthy vampires

That might not be bad and it could redeem this ****ty season. I just hope Sookie's character isn't the "danger whore" like she has been. It would be nice if she didn't define herself by a man and became a strong independent person again. Also what are your opinions on Jason's new girl? I am not sure I like that storyline.

That was the finale? Only ten episodes this season?

Either way I really enjoyed it as I have enjoyed the rest of this season. Warlow's death was disappointing, and Sam becoming mayor was a huge WTF moment because it seems like the last thing he'd ever want.

Curious to see what happens with Eric, Jason's amazingly hot vampire girlfriend :drool and the infected vamps.

Alcide looked so much better with the long, sexy, wavy hair BTW. :(

Sam's the mayor? I missed that somehow. I guess that's why he was so front and center during the church meeting.

Warlow in the finale was one of the worst examples of convenient writing I've ever seen. They spent the whole season setting him up as, dangerous certainly, but essentially a good guy, and for him to suddenly become a mustache twirling villain at the last minute so that he could be quickly dispatched to move the plot forward was just damn lazy.

Yeah, that episode was an awful finale. They could have found some other way to incorporate the whole infected vamps vs healthy vamps storyline they seem to be pushing. The whole Warlow storyline was such a waste. They made him out to be this vicious killer that is hunting Sookie in the 5th season and then turned him into her lover and eventually the "Bad Guy" in the finale. It was very anticlimactic.

I am excited to see what happens in season 7 now because the potential for a good season is there. But now I have to wait a whole year.

I actually liked this year. Tara is finally a kick *** character. Turning her into a vampire was smart. It finally made the character enjoyable and gave it some relevance vs. just a character we loved to hate. I really liked Billath, until he became a weepy lil' turd that really didn't do anything with his new "Godly vampiric powers." Going back to Tara, I love her relationship with Pam. The fact the once cold-hearted mid-life Barbie doll was coming around, almost human in nature, and shedding some of that armour. I yearned to see more of the interaction between Pam and her vamp baby, Tara.

I liked the set up and structure of the season... It was very promising, but unfortunately as many before me had mentioned, the season finale fell flat. Causing an otherwise, potentially strong structure to implode. I love that we got to see Anna Paquin (FYI: Born Winnipegger, just like your's truly) wearing a cute school girl outfit for a few episodes. What can I say, I am a sucker for short skirts and knee socks! Love Jason's new girlfriend... he brings the porn to the series. Seriously, he's always in some nude **** scene.

I would say True Blood started out as a dark thriller/horror drama, and now has turned into a very campy soap, with some unintentional comedy flavouring. You can't take this show seriously. I know it's about vampires. At least the first season you could fake yourself into believing that such a world could exist, but now it's such a gong show, and so out there, I am not surprised with anything they throw at us anymore. They could kill every single character off in the show, and I wouldn't question their direction. This is where I am with the series. It's ****ed up, thus I have given up trying to make sense of anything when it comes to all things, True Blood.

To further sum it up, it's a train wreck. The kind, that as much as you don't want to watch, you can't look away. Without using a cliche pun here, it literally sucks you in every time. No matter how ridiculous it gets.

i agree about Alcide, he look better with the longer hair,
he look weird as hell at the end with the short hair...

Perfectly said.

True Blood has fallen off so much since it started. To many characters. Next season needs a Game of Thrones injection. Why didn't they think Warlows "day" blood wouldn't wear off? Wasn't Warlow the oldest vampire the series has had and he goes out like a whimp. I'm not sure where the story can go when you have already had Bill as God.

As far as vampire age goes is it

Lilith
Warlow---5541 yrs old
Russell---2850 yrs old
Godric----2000 yrs old
Salome---1995 yrs old
Eric-------1100 yrs old
Nan------800 yrs old
Violet----800 yrs old
Roman---500 yrs old
Lorena----250 yrs old
Bill---------175 yrs old
Pam-------140 yrs old
Jessica-----1 yr old

I still enjoyed this season with the exception of Warlow's dumb demise. I'm sure I'll watch next season.

I just finished it and thoroughly enjoyed it. I dunno, could Warlow's death have been better? Does Alcide not look as cool with short hair? Meh. Its just a really fun show, always has been and it continues to be.

And yes Jason's cunnilingus scene with his new Vampire girlfriend is going back on :yess: (with headphones this time though)

Warlow was an interesting character but they ruined it.
I mean ,think about it, the first and only Vampire fairy. They could have done so much more with him.
They really screwed that up.

Maybe he's not dead. You never know with this show.

I even doubt that Eric is dead. I'm not sure they'd send Pam after him just to find his gelatinous remains

I don't think Eric is dead. I bet season 7 starts off with him burying himself in a lot of snow or something and Pam eventually finding him. I think maybe season 7 will be his last though. They ruined the whole Warlow thing. They should have kept him bearded and menacing like he was in the 5th season.

I already mentioned this, but the actor playing Eric had said that maybe he wanted to leave the show. He has had to say no to big movies because of the show,

So he might be gone because he just wants to do other stuff besides playing a vampire.

True and I agree but I don't think he goes out like he did in the end of season 6. I think he comes back and is in the season sporadically and then gets killed or something.

That would be a lame way to end a character that was so important to the success of the series.

That's what I figure but if so he sure takes his time to think of it, he's already totally engulfed in flames and he's just standing there....
