Someone mentioned that this would have been a perfect SDCC exclusive; I am inclined to agree.

I think that would have worked as well...it's size and price really make it seem that way after all.

It does look neat and the poop on the base is a nice touch..they should have added a 2nd flying one and just made it the standard maquette price of 200.00 , would have made for a more impressive piece overall.

I hope there is at least the Stego to go..I need one more big Dinosaur reveal to whet my appetite...this guy is just chicken wings..

Looks good and easy on the wallet too. Ordered. I have every piece of the Dinosauria Maquette line so far and I have not been disappointed with their quality.

I'm very pleased with the selection for a large pterodactyloid. Extremely distinct, excellently detailed, and original in the same vein as the Carnotaurus in that it is phenotypically very unique and memorable. Very much liking this piece.

Hopefully it's just the first of several Pterosaurs regardless of species...but I can't help thinking what it would look like if it were a Quetzalcoatlus or an Ornithocheirus with all those lovely teeth.
