I think that one look at this model might explain why we didn't get an exclusive skull. Look how thin it is. Broken skulls would abound, I'm sure.

I dig this. :clap It will break up the collection a little bit when put on display. It's good to have varying sizes (TWSS!! :yess: ) of collectibles when they're all grouped together on the shelf. (It's an aesthetic preference of mine...)

I really like this one, it's nice to see a smaller piece in the dino line every once in a while, the shelves are getting a bit full of the larger pieces.

Which is funny, since pterosaurs were not dinosaurs or birds. :lol
I collect what I like- no need for me to be an expert. That being said, please explain.
I like dragons and Fell Beasts and heck! Gaos may not have been dino nor bird but he was my favorite Gamera villian! So, I guess I should've clarified that I have a thing for featherless flying creatures? :dunno

And Yes! I love bats!

:lol

Ordered. How could I not order it? I gotta go back and look for this poop though, I missed that. :lol

Scar, good to see you, you've been quiet lately, I hope everything is okay.

Just look for the white runny smears on the rocks.. ;)

Nice to see you back Scar !

Thank ye kindly, gents! Sorry that my appearances have been few and far between. I've had little opportunity to get online. Putting all of the puzzle pieces together for a new apartment, 4 sections of Comparative Anatomy I'll be overseeing this fall, and helping my sister out with her wedding, and holding down two jobs to help pay for all of it. Rest assured you'll be hearing from me more very soon, both via my upcoming review of the Allo VS Camara dio and more prevalently via PM's. Not sure how much time I'll be having in the immediate future for a great number of threads posts, though. Good to pop in and see you fellows all alive and well, though. :D

:lol Same here..flying winged lizardy things are all VERY cool...I can agree Gaos is neat..but Rodan..especially Fire Rodan would have whooped him.. ;D

Pterosaurs are really unique..they aren't dinosaurs since all dinos are land based animals and prob warm-blooded. Birds are basically dinosaurs..just a very evolved branch. Pterosaurs are more like furry reptiles but it's thought that they and many if not all prehistoric marine reptiles might have been warm-blooded as well.

Sounds you like you have a full plate buddy. Def looking forward to your review of the Allo VS Camara..if possible a bit more info regarding the Camara's front feet shape Allo's ankle joints..wether it's foot position is possible or not really.. ;)

Glad to hear your absence is for good reasons, Scar. I recently got a new apartment so I'm familiar with that puzzle.

In regards to dinosaurs and birds, these guys will always be birdie dinos to me. Some things are just a little over my head... :lol

Looks pretty good. I like how they nailed the shape and size of the crest.
