Rip you apart? More likely we'd impale you with our thumb claws. Be courageous and ask though, because that's how we learn. I'm saying this as someone whose paleontological knowledge is moderate, at best. :lol

And yes, of course, Delgado doesn't build these stories to be super-accurate. Shonisaurus and all other ichthyosaurs were long gone by the time the Cretaceous rolled around.

I'm awaiting news about their next 1:1 Dinosaur piece. My SS Allosaurus bust is looking lonely. ;)

Just foolin Blade. :lol

Seriously though, they should really do a bust of some kind, in 1:1 scale. It doesn't have to be huge. A protoceratops bust would be interesting. It would go nicely with their latest dio. :D

Payback...is going..to be ...a _____. Count on it.. ;) hehe

I wouldn't mind a 1/1 Dinosaur..something small. I also like the idea of busts..how about a Dilophosaurus ?

That dilo isn't a bust but is actually just the head shot of a complete beast. If I'm not mistaken I think it was sculpted by Italian paleo artist Andrea Leanza whose down some phenomenal work for some musuem exhibits over there.

I'm waiting for the nukes to fall.:panic:

That Dilophosaurus does look really nice, but I'd rather have his Parasaurolophus bust. Man how i'd love to own that bust.:drool:drool:drool:drool:drool:drool:drool

I'd buy wall-mounted 1:1 busts of Dinosaurs. I would not buy busts that stood on their own though.

Honestly I'm out of wall space..and a bust that sat on it's own would be fine with me. You also have to figure if the mounts and studs in your wall can hold the weight. I'd much rather a weighted stand with steel pole and it sits on it. Then it's easier to move and clean..and I can buy some more fake plants so it will appear to be looking out of them. ;)

As Dan said, you are right it is by Andrea, but I've only seen this particular one as a bust.

Oh don't be so hasty..I prefer to take my time with revenge..savor it, if you will. ;)

The Para bust might be a little large at 1/1 though..lol I've asked, hinted, and suggested about 20 times if he would sell a copy of that Dilo to me..if I ever get a response..I might also inquire about the Para for ya'. ;D

Thanks Chris. I'd appreciate it if you'd inquire about the Para bust. That is, if he ever gets back to you. ;)

I'm still curious about the CMStudio statues. I'd give them a call, but I don't want to waste their time, asking about the price of a statue I know I can't afford. :lol

I usually inquire by email..but I think they sensed I didn't have the cash they were looking for.

If it's just one piece, I'd ask anyway..I was pretty general when I was looking for small 1/1 pieces.

That's the problem. The one i'd ask about, is the one I know I can't afford. That being the Parasaurolophus , of course. ;) I don't even think I could afford the head. :lol

I guess this is what credit cards are for..I've avoided owning one so far..I hope I can keep enduring.

You might be able to work out a payment plan for just the head, past articles I've read suggest Charlie is a pretty amiable fellow.

How can you survive without a credit card? How do you shop on-line? How often do you have to go to the bank to get money?

I live on my credit card, but I pay it off every month.

The answer to that is easy, at least for me. I only use a Debit card, so if I don't have the money, it doesn't get spent. ;)

I have something almost as good...I have a relative who lets me use her debit card..and checking account. I don't make enough for taxes so all my money is " off the books "..freelance artist work has at least that perk going for it...if not much else. I don't keep any money in a bank...I had an account last year, but it was eating more in fees than I used it..so I closed it.
