It sounds great you are going to do Bauer, House & Dexter. I will be happy to see your fab sculpts.
But be careful not to call them by their names.
It would have to be the "24 Hour Guy", "Dr. G", and the "Miami/Dade County Forensic Blood Splatter Expert".

Of all the sitcom detective-types, I've gotta go with Jon Polito from Homicide: Life on the Streets:

You could pretend he was any number of great characters from Coen Brothers films!

I remember him in the Wire. I think he only showed up for one scene, though. Pretty cool seeing that other guy from Homicide as the newspaper editor on the final season. Obviously, David Simon's connection with Homicide was a boon for that show. Without Homicide, there could have been no Wire, which is the greatest TV show I've ever seen.
