I just saw the B&W version of Herman Munster for preorder on SSC. When I pre-ordered that, it said it would be available from Tweeterheads site exclusively. What's it doing on SSC? This must be about distribution/audience. SSC is huge, Tweeterhead is small. I paid for my B&W version on Feb 1. Received it in late March, early April as I recall. And it is still available. It's limited to only 313 pieces. Just wasn't selling too well on their site I guess. I wonder if the B&W Lilly will show up at SSC? Does this mean we'll see the Catwoman/Newmar limited version on SSC as well?

I saw that as well. I don't think the exclusive catwoman will show up on SS. I think Herman probably wasn't selling so good on Tweeterheads website so they needed to "advertise" him a little more. If I remember correctly, Herman had his ES right from the beginning, Catwoman is still TBD. I don't think they will make that many of her to the point where they would need to put her up on Sideshow because she's not selling.

I just checked Tweeterhead's site. It still says B&W HM is only available on their site. It also says there are 312 in stock. So I guess I'm the only person who has one? Or do you think their site needs a bit of an "update". If it's about the advertising and
money, then CW may well show up on SSC.

I think Herman has been at 312 for awhile, I think it probably does need updated. You can't be the only one who purchase it :lol

As far as Catwoman goes, Tweeterhead has said she is extremely limited, which makes me believe that she won't/shouldn't have an ES like Herman. I would think she would just be a Tweeterhead exclusive.

But, you never know. Herman is the proof that things can change.

I routinely change the positions of my sixth scale figures as I buy new ones to add to the collection, which has kept me away from statues. After seeing this one, however, I'm happy to say Ms. Newmar will be gracing my shelves! Ordered my "Emerald" exclusive a couple days ago. Was surprised it was still offered! Even if it weren't the EX, I'd have opted for this version because I think the green stone will look best in the display. Considering HT will not likely be able to capture the true Newmar in body, if they do end up making the sixth scale figure, I'm still going to buy her. Would be interesting to see if HT makes the Catwoman, and if they do the Julie Newmar version. Eartha Kitt. Lee Merriwether (sp?) head sculpts would be pretty cool options, too!

I cracked and ordered the reg from a UK dealer.

It would have been great to have the emerald ltd but can't justify the extra expense when it is the sculpt and statue itself that I really love and didn't want to miss out on.

Besides, looking at the orders here and the length of time the ltd has been up for, the regular diamond statue may have a lower edition number :)

Great statue, can't wait for it to sit in a detolf with the HT bats and Robin.

I just pre-ordered this. It's just too cool not to have. The fact that it's sixth scale and will match up perfectly with my Hot Toys figures greased the skids for me. I assume Hot Toys will give us a Catwoman at some point but there is apparently confusion over whether they have TV shows rights or movie rights to the Batman 66 stuff. If it's just the movie then that means Lee Merriwether instead of Julie Newmar, and that's just a risk I can't take. Julie will look great next to my Hot Toys Anne Hathaway Catwoman (and, hopefully, Michelle Pfeiffer if Hot Toys ever gets around to it.)

I picked up the diamond version, as the emerald sort of called too much attention to itself. Besides, diamonds are worth more than emeralds, aren't they? And Catwoman goes where the money is!

This will look great on my 1/6 shelf. And I absolutely love the base as well. Now I'm wondering about Elvira. She looks great but I'm not sure she fits anywhere in my collection.

You're right about the diamonds, they are worth more :lol I have a few pieces in my collection that really don't belong anywhere, but I figure down the road something might come along that goes with them. If you like Elvira enough, go for it :)

"A sneak peek at the front and back of our Emerald Edition Certificate signed by Miss Julie Newmar. From what I know, the photograph we discovered for the signature side is unpublished. It's one of my favorite Catwoman photos ever. "

I like how they said the Emerald Edition would be up for sale for a short time only and it's been like over a month and it's still up for sale with no announced ES.... I guess Tweeterhead is taking a page from SS book..
