Thanks rfr5671. I think I would go ahead and just get both glasses then. I would probably just use the grey more and use the red every once in while.
With our Texas Heat, I think I would constantly get a headache if I wear the red all the time. I appreciate the info.

Is there any chance these glasses come finalized? I mean painted?
I'm asking because I have no talent to paint them and dont know anyone in Brazil who can finalize it.

Currently, all WGP's painters are busy so it wont be offered painted. But he said he does know a painter who could probably possible do it, he just need to check with him first. If the painter is willing, he can send the glasses to him directly if you guys decide to go that route.

And that painter is me! I am gdb (check out Facebook group page for more about me.) Rick contacted me -- we've worked together in the past (True Blood, Catwoman, etc.) -- and explained the situation. I can paint the glasses for anyone interested. I have a fast turnaround and see no reason why I shouldn't be able to paint them and mail them to you in like a week of my receiving them.

Price is $5 a pair to paint plus $2.00 shipping per shipment.

(And if anyone needs their Tyler head painted... or any other head for that matter ...drop me a PM!)

Sorry for appearing thick and asking maybe a real dumb question

Is it just the frames that will be painted?

I am taking it we get nice shiny see through transparent red lenses in these? They wont be painted will they?

Yeah, that's the whole plan teddy, the lenses will be red transparent. It will be printed like this.

except it will be red. So basically, the whole glasses are gonna be printed as a red transparent material, so the silver part of the glasses has to be painted.

I believe that was the reason why Rainman had a problem making these cause to hand sculpt it as a whole glasses, the lenses wouldnt be transparent. And if you just sculpt the glasses without the lenses, it would be too thin and it would be weak and would easily break.

Oh hey, it occurred to me that should anyone want a head painted at the same time as the frames -- don't know if anyone factors into that but I thought I should offer -- I'll do the glasses for FREE! It'll add to the turnaround, heads usually take 2-4 weeks, but free is free, right?
