Probably the same as last year's. Doubt they went that crazy with the animations. I'm hoping this series really picks up and gets as popular as Fight Night. I wouldn't mind getting a new UFC game every other year, but I doubt it can keep me coming back like people do with Madden every year.

Well, VGChartz shows that Undisputed 2009 sold more copies than Fight Night Round 4.

Also, I'm pretty sure THQ will be releasing a new UFC every year like they do with their Smackdown series.

Oh, and a recent interview with the devs showed that different fighters DO throw different strikes(i.e. BJ Penn's ***-hook-uppercut, Wanderlei's haymakers, etc.)

Yeah Im not expecting really all that much different. A few different animations for some punches and kicks or throws isnt enough for me to pick this up. I had 2009 and it was fun, but it wasnt all that.

And to compare UFC to Fight Night is 2 totally different types of games. Thats why Im more excited to see what EA is doing with there MMA game.

What really annoyed me with the last game was the height differences,everyone were basically the same height.

Try GSP vs Matt Serra and you`ll see what i mean,same height but Serra looked alot bigger because he doesn`t look as thin and long as GSP does.

I got ya man. Yeah like I said being that there so good with there sports games, Im actually really hyped for EA MMA game. I like the
option that you can fight in a cage or ring. That alone while doesnt change the gameplay any I thought it was a cool option.

Wanderlei Silva should not be DLC.

It has to be a typo.

And Bader was DLC immediately on release of the game by preordering from Gamestop.

Im actually really hyped for EA MMA game. I like the
option that you can fight in a cage or ring. That alone while doesnt change the gameplay any I thought it was a cool option.

Its a cool option but I'd bet my entire collection this game will better EA by miles. For a while there I was thinking like you are but then the months kept passing with no in-game footage (despite what youtube tells you) and the latest pics have been iffy at best. They havent even allowed any journalists to play it yet. Screams disaster to me anyways. And thats not favoritism, I would and will buy both if theyre good. Just not likely IMO
