The big annnouncement that Dana has been talking about (signing a top MW Fighter) turned out to be Vitor Belfort. Belfort has one fight left with Affliction and then he'll be a free agent. So it's possible. Belfort destroyed Matt Lindland in 37 seconds of the 1st Round by KO in his last fight and has been looking good lately. So he'd be a nice addition.

So after Forrest Griffin (Win or Lose) A.Silva will have some good fights in the future at MW: Henderson/Bisping Winner, Belfort (If he signs) Yoshihiro Akiyama (if he goes on a run) Maia/Marquardt Winner, Okami (Rematch).

Should have been a draw

Buds and I were thinking it was going to be a draw or a win for Guida. Sanchez obviously won the first round 10-9 or possibly 10-8. Guide had the takedown and hold for the second round. And the third was a free-for-all, which I think Guida won. So a decision for Guida or a draw. Don't know what fight the refs saw....

Really? Sanchez dominated the first. Was taken down in the second but he landed a majority of more effective strikes from the bottom then Guida did from atop. Third round could have gone either way. It was a great fight for sure. I cant wait to see Sanchez fight the BJ vs Ken winner.

Yea, you got to consider whether you consider a win of the round: 15-20 elbows (some didn't land), or being held on the ground the entire round......I consider the being held down, so I gave it to Guida.

Oh I agree with you there. I just gave rounds 1 & 3 to Sanchez. Round 1 could even have been 10-8. Both the other rounds were close and could have gone either way.

Either way, I don't think this loss will stop Guida that much because his performance was awesome and some people think he won.

Daaamn, Diego Beat the ^^^^ out of Guida in that 1st round, that was some good ^^^^, the only exciting fight, the rest of the fights sucked....

The Joe "daddy" vs Diaz fight was ok. Loved how they were smack talking each other during the fight.

UFC officials awarded $200,000 in post-fight bonuses. Six $25,000 “Fight of the Night” bonuses went to Lytle and Burns, Stevenson and Diaz and Sanchez and Guida. Drwal pocketed a $25,000 “Knockout of the Night” prize, and Dent banked a $25,000 “Submission of the Night” bonus.

Pretty cool. Never seen 3 fights get FOTN honors. :lol
