I CANNOT wait for these fights! :rock

i want Mir to win because I like him and Brock talks too much for being a newbie. but i think he is good for the sport in the mainstream sense because of his ridiculous size and his name.

GSP was DOMINATE in his last fight and doesn't appear to be slowing down, looking forward to his fight too.

Oh yeah and I hope Bisping gets DESTROYED. I hate him. :emperor

GSP is only good when he starts off with the advantage early, if he starts getting smoked quick then i'd say he might be done(gets timid and loses confidence) as this opponent looks like he has the eye of the tiger going for him lol..but, i am still rooting for GSP, just a great guy with class to represent us Canadians and could be the greatest ever in MMA..and i am not even a fan of this crap really.

the first time penn and him fought, penn wooped his ass in the 1st, and then he came back and one the last 2 rounds, so i dont think losing the 1st will indicate that GSP will lose the fight.........

for tonights fights, i will go lesnar with TKO in the 2nd, GSP in a decision, and hendo in a decision........i guess i will have to take a look at the spoilers as well :monkey3

Observations:

During the press conferences for this card Lesnar, GSP and Henderson were always seated on the same side at the same table. And all of them won. Thought that was kinda funny.

GSP has no competetion at 170. None. If anyone beats him it'll be a freak accident/stroke of luck like Serra.

Lesnar is the real deal. Anyone who still disputes that is a hater. Dude is 4 - 1 and in 5 fights not only has he progressed at a scary rate but he's also: Beaten 2 former UFC HW Champs by TKO (Couture/Mir) Beaten a UFC Hall of Famer (Couture) and currently holds the undisputed and linear UFC HW Title.

Brock Lesnar = *********. Giving both fingers to the crowd afterward shows what a backwards @ss hick F*#^ he really is. Listening to him get booed after that fight was awesome. He won that fight because he is friggin gigantic, not because of any real skill. Mir got pummeled though.

Post fight press conference notes:

Georges St. Pierre has a torn groin. Dana White announced a $5.1 million gate. Alan Belcher vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama was named best fight, Tom Lawlor best submission and Dan Henderson best knockout. All those fighters received $100,000 bonuses.

In a noteworthy moment, Brock Lesnar apologized for the way he acted after the fight. He said it was unprofessional. He explained that he is a sore loser, and didn't like the first loss to Frank Mir. He said there was a lot of emotion. He explained he wants to be a fighter and a part of the company and has wanted to be a fighter since he was a kid. He said he went to the entertainment business and brought a little bit of it back. He apologized to Bud Light (for talking about how he prefers Coors Light). He said he is used to selling pay-per-views and was trying to do his job. He explained he had a talk with Dana White after the fight where Dana was angry with him. He said he was amped up and has nothing against Frank.

Georges St. Pierre and Dana White were asked about a next opponent for GSP. Dana White said he has no clue. GSP said he has a pretty bad injury. When he was under Alves, Alves pushed his knee down and he heard a snap near his groin. GSP attributed this in part to a lack of warmup time with the time switches on the card. GSP said he wants to face the best but he wants to rest up his injury and then think about it.

Dana White again explained he's interested in making Brock Lesnar vs. Fedor Emelianenko still and will work for it when his contract with Affliction is up.
