Well like kobayashi93 said Tom Attencio and Afflicition are trying to find a last minute replacement but it's gonna be a hard sell on short notice. Attencio has already stated that this show would determine Afflicitions future in the fight business. It's no secret they've lost considerable money since Afflicition began promoting shows. They've yet to make a profit and their PPV sales have been terrible. So according to Attencio, if this show didn't outperform the first two considerably, the chances of Affliction putting on a fourth show were very low; and then this happens.
Now it's lose/lose all around. Whoever Fedor fights will mean very little as far as a win for him because it'll be on short notice. And if he loses: let the S'Storm begin.
If Vitor fights and WINS.. that's bad for Afflicition because Fedor is their one trick pony. If he loses.. that could possibly hurt his chances of the UFC wanting him.
If Affliction gets a one-shot HW and they beat Fedor, Affliction is screwed unless they can sign that HW to a contract because I'm sure the UFC will want to immediately sign them as well. And if Fedor refuses to fight Affliction is screwed. Because that was the main draw.
Terrible.
